5By Cheryl SDS4.5 Stars This is book 7 in the Into the Fire series and it features Donovan and Jasmine. Jasmine is a very fickle woman . At least until she met Donovan. The sparks arcing between them were beautiful! There was no denying the attraction between them. Even though this was a romance between these two and they ended up with their own issues, the conflict in the story was shared between her and Levi. The romance was beautifully written as well as the sibling issues. Great story line! I love seeing some of the other characters from previous books and how well they’re doing. I’m in love with the little town of Willow Brook, Alaska and it’s occupants. I ALWAYS look forward to reading more from this very talented author!Sweet & fiery!

Donovan and Jasmine have set your soul on fire chemistry that scorches the pages. J.H. Croix pulls us in from the first page to the very last and gives us an amazing storyline and fantastic characters. A quick stop at Wildlands bar is just what she needs. She’s Fiery, beautiful, sexy and just because she’s in a bar playing pool she isn’t gonna let a man put his hands all over her. Jasmine punches the man. Donavan comes to her rescue. Donavan is drawn to Jasmine the minute he sees her across the bar. He feels a connection. One hot steamy kiss later Donovan finds out Jasmine is his best friends sister. He knows he should stay away. The last relationship he was in left him with heartache. But when He and Jasmine end up living across the hall from each other all bets are off and the sex is just WOW! Their chemistry is electric. They’re falling in love but both are to afraid to admit it. When Donavan disappears for a few days without an explanation Jasmine begins to wonder if her and Donavan could ever be more than just sex. Jasmine ran back home to Alaska to family after she caught her fiancé with another woman. Donavan a hot shot also has emotional baggage as well. They met by Donavan protecting Jasmine in a bar fight. They are instantly attracted to each other then Donovan finds out she is the sister of another hotshot and she is an emotional wreck. I throughly enjoyed reading Into the Fire the characters are well developed and like able. There is also sizzle and emotional topics are explored in the story. Jasmine and Donavan story is one of my favorite in the hot shot series and I highly recommending reading it. Donovan is: laid back, not an ahole, a good man, likes Jasmine something fierce, works with Jasmine's brother Levi at the station. They meet in a bar, after Jasmine is playing pool and another dude grabs her bu++. She clocks him good but the bartender has Donovan drive her to Levi's. The fun begins, hot times, impulsive actions, more hot times and of course, Donovan works with Levi. Verdict: Recommend. Cuz its hot. I voluntarily reviewed this book.Moving on from the past

She ends up at the B&B in town and finds out that Donavan’s room is right across from hers. She are attracted to each other and and then start sleeping together. But Donavan has to figure out if he’s ready to move on after his disastrous end of his engagement. Jasmine has to figure out that this isn’t a rebound plus her ex fiancé keeps texting her. But worst of all what will Levi do when he finds out his friend is sleeping with his little sister! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
