Description

Will one wild dawn lead to true love or heartbreak?

The oldest of nine sisters, Miss Annette Marsden spends her life taking care of others and keeping her fathers modest estate from falling apart while longing for a romance she only dare to dream about.

The younger brother of the Duke of Selbourne, Lord Roderick Andrews finds himself tiring of the same old debauchery and longs for the one woman who does not swoon at his feet.

One wild dawn, driven by a stolen kiss, Anne and Roderick are swept away by desire. Anne dares to hope her dream of love may come true, only to find that Roderick was so drunk that he doesn’t remember what happened!

Can Roderick rekindle the passion they'd found and redeem himself to Anne or is their one chance at happiness gone with Roderick's memories?

One Wild Dawn is the first book in Dayna’s new Regency Romance series, The Northumberland Nine. If you like redeemable rogues, strong heroines, and riveting romance, then you’ll love Dayna Quince’s new series.

It was wonderful to watch Roderick grow to be the manWorthy of Anne. Their life long history grew into a life long love. You will not be disappointed with this book... it's a keeper...April H Jacksonville FL

This is a delightful book with good interesting characters. It just annoys me to come across grammatical errors.

She took the flowers. “Their lovely.” —-Are you freaking kidding me? That’s a third grader’s mistake. I am not even into the second chapter yet...finishing this is going to make my inner grammar Nazi roar with displeasure.

This was a beautiful love story. I wish you put epilogue in your stories, I am on a fixed income and may not be able to buy all of the books.

Really? $3.,00/chapter? It’s ok but what a way to make a living. I’ll take a bye on the rest og these.
  • A good story that needs some proofreading

The story suffered from a number of grammatical errors. If they could be fixed, I would add a star to the review.

Roderick is first the dukes younger son. His father disapproved of his interest in Annette “Anne” as a young man and nothing came of it. Now, eight years later, he’s the current duke’s younger brother. He’s been smitten with her, but has never done anything about it recently, until he finally asks Anne for a waltz. Too bad he gets sauced. Anne is the oldest of nine (!) daughters of landed gentry. She almost fell for Roderick when she was a teenager, but now views him as a spoiled lord. What happens when he can’t remember certain things? Can he prove himself to Anne, make her see that he’s worthy of her? I loved Anne, she’s smart, sensible and feisty. Recommend. Purchased
