Description

The surprising story of how wrestling superstar Glenn "Kane" Jacobs beat all the odds to become the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
Even in his heyday in wrestling, Jacobs was inspired to pursue politics by popular libertarian figures such as former Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, Republican Senator Rand Paul, Fox News' Judge Andrew Napolitano and others, and that led him to fulfill his own political ambitions.
Before becoming Mayor Kane, Glenn "Kane" Jacobs was one of WWE's top Superstars for over two decades and traveled the globe with the likes of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, John Cena, Ric Flair, and many others. He dominated the WWE with The Undertaker as the "Brothers of Destruction." Kane reinvented himself with the help of Daniel Bryan forming "Team Hell No." He set "Good ol' JR," Jim Ross on fire.
The wrestler-turned-politician hasn't hung up his wrestling boots yet. Politics is a contact sport and Jacobs is using his wrestling skills in that arena. Jacobs supports President Trump and his agenda, and is implementing conservative policies in Tennessee.

Had received advanced copies of this days before its released. KANE Glenn Jacobs has been outspoken more than the Undertaker over the years but as far as his origins prior to pro wrestling and getting involved in the business and in politics is a story that really hasn’t been on full display until now and in Glenn’s own words. This book to me represents a great inspirational story for anyone which is it’s okay to dream and not stop dreaming, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Mortality is not forever and it’s important to make sure the impact we leave behind impacts our peers and generations to come. That’s what Glenn Jacobs does with his life as he felt the yearning and need to want to give back to his community in the best way possible and he’s making such an impressionable mark so far in his political career. I will admit that I was a bit Leary about the political aspects portion of this book as I was concerned if Glenn’s political beliefs were going to be a gospel hammered down to readers again and again but it is not like that at all. You really come away understanding his ideology, him as a human being and on such a personal level that politics be put to the side. He comes off so impressionable that you just want to get into conversation with him about what’s going on in this world and trying to find peaceful solutions while working together. There is so much division right now in our country and at one piece at a time Glenn is doing his part as Mayor in trying to work with people on all sides to get things done. Whether you’re a hardcore wrestling fan or a political junkie, there’s something for everyone in this book that you’ll love but overall you’ll come away having even more admiration for KANE Glenn Jacobs. You will feel inspired so much that you’ll take a step back and look at your own life and business and want to strive for even bigger and greater things while contributing more to society. Don’t stop believing as an old Journey song goes...
