Description

The man I hate might be the first one to pluck my petals…

Confession: I, Dandelion “Dani” Wright, am twenty-six years old and have yet to be deflowered. It didn't matter, until Jacob West walks back into my life.

This Jacob is no boy, though: he’s all man now—confident, charming, and so sexy my metaphorical blossoms are getting scorched.

I can almost forget I’m supposed to hate him forever. Almost.

War of the Roses is a 10,000-word prelude to Petal Plucker: A Steamy Romantic Comedy and shouldn’t be read as a standalone.

It starts with a childhood crush. Dani, the odd girl who likes to pull dandelions and the new kid in town Jacob. They become friends at the age of five and Dani’s love for Jacob blooms all the way through to the prom...where her heart breaks because she was stood up. Now after a decade Jacob’s back and Dani is a hot mess over it. This is a fun, get to know Dani, her parents, two sisters, her best friend and Jacob along with their competing flower shops. You can tell it is going to be fun ride with these characters. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What a fun and quirky story. Dandelion and Jacob are on a rocky slope from their time together in high school. Can’t wait to find out what’s next in their journey. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
