Description

Sweet Harmony has a new look, but don't worry - the story hasn't changed!

Kira is desperate...

A decade of unrequited love will do that to a girl.

Dead set on making local hottie firefighter Daniel jealous, she proposes a fake relationship with Connor... her unexpectedly sexy dentist.

Connor is done with relationships.

He moved to Harmony Falls to escape his past and make a fresh start... one that doesn't include a girlfriend—fake or real.

Faced with the prospect of an awkward reunion with his ex, and a family determined to bring them back together, he makes an agreement with Kira. He'll help make Daniel jealous if she'll pose as his girlfriend at a family wedding.

The relationship isn't real... but their sizzling attraction is.

As they grow closer, the lines blur between make-believe and reality until Kira realizes that it's Connor she wants.

Will Connor's past doom them from the start? Or are Connor and Kira meant to be?

Please note that this book contains steamy and explicit sex scenes and may not be your cup of tea. It is intended for mature audiences only.

My recommendation is it’s up to you. It’s one of those books for me that I rewrote as I read. It has potential but the author failed at consistency with the characters and the storylines. It’s formulaic and I bet, by the way she writes, her other books are all very similar. The male lead’s outlook on everything is skewed to depressing, doom and gloom. I didn’t find him attractive. Throughout the book he constantly has to apologize for his behavior. It got old very fast. I was not a fan of the female lead especially her unrequited “love”/crush on her friend’s brother who for years used her feelings for him to take advantage of her. Sure she gets with Mr. Sad Sack but she’s 25 and she’s had this infatuation with the other guy for 10 years and held onto her virginity for him. That’s pretty delusional and sad. There are a few moments I enjoyed but overall it’s a all the negativity makes it a no for me. I won’t continue the series.
