Description
A glorious empire. A desperate quest. An ancient secret.
The search for allies extends to a new land in the sixth book of the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.
Chaol Westfall and Nesryn Faliq have arrived in the shining city of Antica to forge an alliance with the Khagan of the Southern Continent, whose vast armies are Erilea's last hope. But they have also come to Antica for another purpose: to seek healing at the famed Torre Cesme for the wounds Chaol received in Rifthold.
After enduring unspeakable horrors as a child at the hands of Adarlanian soldiers, Yrene Towers has no desire to help the young lord from Adarlan, let alone heal him. Yet she has sworn an oath to assist those in need, and she will honor it. But Lord Westfall carries his own dark past, and Yrene soon realizes that those shadows could engulf them both.
Chaol, Nesryn, and Yrene will have to draw on every scrap of their resilience to overcome the danger that surrounds them. But while they become entangled in the political webs of the khaganate, long-awaited answers slumber deep in the mountains, where warriors soar on legendary ruks. Answers that might offer their world a chance at survival . . . or doom them all.
The final battle looms in this sixth book in the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series.
Reviews
Well done.
5By HierholzerAt first, I was not pleased with the beginning of this book. I was completely blown away with this story, it kept getting better until the end. It flows perfectly into the next book. Excellent writing and story telling.Great just like the others
5By allison5483857283958Took longer to get into this book because of the change in POV, but just as good as all the rest.Another awesome book
5By JlcreechIt took me a minute to get into it because Aelin wasn’t the main character but when I did ❤️❤️❤️My least favorite TOG book
3By KaylaReneeQYou definitely have to read this book your 1st time through TOG & maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I had done the tandem read bc I definitely missed Aelin. However, this book took me 5x longer to get through than any other TOG book. The 3 stars are for Nesryn, Yrene, Falkan, & Sartaq. I was hoping this book would serve as a redemption arc for Chaol but I honestly still cannot stand him. I will be skipping it on my re-read.Number 1
5By DeltaLove4I’m not sure where the hate for this book comes… I hung onto every word. Like Chaol or hate Chaol, this is my favorite of the series. The others so far were at times tough to push through with slow moments that I still loved but had to endure. This book… every page, sentence, word and letter had me grasping for more. A bridge that needed to be written before the final bookThe ending is unmatched
5By KenzDollSlow burn, but the last 25% is incredible and completely worth the read. I had tears streaming down my face. Can’t put these books down
