Description

The seductive and stunning #1 New York Times bestselling sequel to Sarah J. Maas's spellbinding A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she's now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people.

As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre's hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin. While Feyre navigates a dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms. She might just be the key to stopping it, but only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future-and the future of a world in turmoil.

Bestselling author Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her dazzling, sexy, action-packed series to new heights.

This is simply a stunning piece of literature. It is elegant in its destruction of “just another love story”. A fantasy world that takes a realistic approach to PTSD and much, much more. These pages are filled not just with physical warriors but of the heart. It shows beauty in the broken and strength from what could be considered weakness. Truly a beautiful story cannot wait to read the next book.

Definitely not a 5-star book. It took me well over three weeks to read it. Way too drawn out with some action in between to keep a slight interest. It’s an okay book, but not good enough to purchase the next.

It’s a roller coaster of emotions. I recently began reading books by Sarah J Maas and she has easily become my favorite author.

Oh my good goodness, this revealed so many Easter eggs from the first book, it reminds me of Taylor swifts Easter eggs she drops every wear. I am dying to keep reading this series and reread the first book again and relieve the moment Feyre and Rhysand first met. I loved this book and honestly couldn’t put it down. I am officially obsessed with these characters and their story and can’t wait to see where it goes.

Absolutely loved the slow burn and fantastic plot. Thrice as good as the first book. Definitely plan on rereading this.

The way the story line grew and opened up made the weirdness of the history from book one worth it.
