They meet, become friends, and the story gets better. I could not put it down. I laughed, had tears, was sad and happy. So much going on. Two wonderful families that grabbed my heart. Thank you . 5By LKKtechieThe summer of 2020 will be remembered for many things - quarantine/pandemic, presidential race, struggles of a wide variety for many BUT, most of all 2020 is the summer I finally got to me Hadley Zablonski in Tempted By Love!! (PS-she isn’t even the main heroine, her mama is) Hadley is the cutest almost 3 yr old fictional character I’ve ever met. This little girl will wrap you around her precious little fingers with just one little scowl (smiles are reserved for special people, aka Jock Steele). Hadley is the daughter of Daphne. Daphne is the manager/receptionist at Bayside Resort. Daphne has been through some tough times learning to be a single mom, getting divorced from a man who didn’t want to know or want to love a child. Jackson “Jock” Steele is a man still reeling from some horrible events 10 yrs in his past and most recently the death of the man he cared for, Harvey. Jock has a long road ahead of him to be able to put his demons in the past and forge a new path/reconnect with his family who live on Silver Island. Can Daphne and Hadley help Jock find that path? If I’m not careful with all I want to say about this newest love story by Melissa Foster I will be giving away the story and that is not happening. So, just know that you will need tissues for happy tears, OMG tears, you will find yourself in some pretty steamy between the sheets scenes, and completely falling in love with the newest world of Melissa Foster. Sooo many new characters to love and visits/connections with ones you already know and love. I found myself with tears, saying “Oh My Goodness”, and literally bouncing on my toes for this new world. If you love big families, alpha males who will love, protect, and fall hard when they meet the woman meant for them, then you will love this newest world of Melissa Foster, The Steeles of Silver Island. The first book in this new series is Tempted By Love (Jock and Daphne). Each book can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend alI books from Melissa Foster. The Bayside Desires series is the most closely related series. For the audiobook, Brian Pallino’s performance is great, I love the deep baritone, especially for those oh-so-hot between-the-sheets scenes! Jennifer Mack does an equally outstanding performance as Daphne and Hadley. This beautiful love story is great even if you only read the words. But, listening to this story is brought beautifully to life by Brian and Jennifer is a whole new experience. I have come to learn that voice-narrators/actors are so talented because of all the voices they may have to create/perform in a story. Totally recommend this audio not just for the story or the voices but for the whole experience. I received an ARC and an audio copy in exchange for an honest review. 5-stars easily!! *****Love is possible

He left home on Silver island and move to the cape to help and old man Harvey to be a caretaker for ten years. After Harvey’s death. Jock felt lost except that he had his eyes on the most beautiful woman Daphne and her daughter Hadley. After a trip traveling or a year he still thought of Daphne. But after the trauma of the accident of his friend and son, he was afraid to be around kids. Jock battles his fears and Daphne loved him through it. A beautiful, loving story that I definitely enjoyed. Happy reading.Wonderful start to the Steele stories!

Daphne is a single mom with an almost 3 year old that dreams of finding romance and love. She knows what she wants and won’t settle for anything less. Jock (a nickname that stuck, also known as Jack) is a writer and caretaker who has his own tragic past that keeps him far away from small children. After a year of trying to forget his attraction and desire for Daphne, he decides to overcome his triggers to have a relationship. He also decides to mend relationships with his family. Relationships take work, but Daphne and Jock love their work!This is why I read romance!
5By KindleKat64Once again I am reminded of why I love to read romance. This book is absolutely fantastic! It’s sweet, heartwarming and emotional with a nice healthy side of sexy. It’s even silly and funny at times which I love. As with all of Melissa Foster’s books, family and friendships are at the very heart and soul of everything. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, as Jock and Daphne swept me up in their special story along with little Hadley too of course. I adored their journey to their HEA so very much!! It is real and pure and just filled my heart up with love and fed my soul. Jack “Jock” Steele may be tortured by traumatic events in his past but that man will definitely make you swoon! Daphne’s daughter Hadley was drawn to him from the moment she met him as you’ll find out this was not the easiest thing for Jock at first. Hadley is a definite scene stealer, because there is just no way you can help but to be swept up by her. She is absolutely adorable especially with “Her Dock”. Jock is a work in progress but so good for Daphne. He really sees her and is so drawn to her and Hadley but she is hesitant at first for obvious reasons. I love Daphne. She is so supportive and helps Jock face his past, fear and guilt. She is so strong and such a wonderful mom to Hadley. She is protective, sweet, good and kind and I just love her for Jock. He’s been through so much but with Daphne and Hadley’s help, he is finally able to really love deeply and live again. Their chemistry is as big as their love becomes and they really know how to heat things up. Jock treats Daphne and Hadley like they are the most precious things on earth and I fell so hard for him!! This was just a beautiful story with a wonderfully satisfying HEA.
