The Clymer Family

Bishop Valentine Klemmer traveled to Philadelphia in 1717 with over 360 other Mennonites, including Hans Herr.
The children of Henry Clymer, Valentine’s great great grandson, gathered for a Reunion in 1910 at the farm of Daniel Clymer in  Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Clymer Reunion continues to meet in Bucks County, Pennsylvania every August. The author looks forward  from the 1910 Reunion, back to Clymers on the Oregon Trail in 1846, then all the way back to Germany and Switzerland before 1717..
