5By jkolmen50266What an incredible vivid courageous story Pam Jenoff crafted. It was interesting, loving, horrifying and intense. A different take on the horrors of the Holocaust. Didn’t realize until reading the author’s notes that this was more than less a fictional tale.Eh
2By LGWesThere is too much going on in this book to feel a connection with the characters. At times, it wasn’t clear which character was speaking. Characters thoughts and actions morphed into one. There are other WW2 books that are better reads. Read Quinn or Anika Scott if you like this type of read. The Woman With the Blue Star
