- Genre: Science Fiction
Description
Colony One is prepared for anything — except the saboteur who's already on board.
For Jonah Wyatt, the Space Force is his last shot at a military career. After years leading an elite task force, he was discharged from the army and stuck working one menial job after another. Now this disgraced combat specialist is headed to space. He's tasked with training his own unit aboard Elderon: colony one. Nobody bothered to tell him it would be a squad of white-hat hackers and intel eggheads who are definitely not Space Force material.
One recruit is Maggie Jones — an undercover reporter who was brought on board as a member of the press corps. Her job is to create fluffy corporate propaganda that paints the colony as a futuristic utopia, but Maggie can't follow the rules once she gets wind of a story.
When Maggie gets a tip from an unknown source, she realizes Elderon is not at all what it seems. As she gets closer to unraveling the conspiracy, Sergeant Wyatt begins to suspect that there's a spy on board. The saboteur has been with them all along, and he's been building an army of his own.
The Elderon Chronicles is now a complete series!

Reviews
Very Suspensful
4By 10CYThis book became more and more enjoyable. I couldn’t finish the last few chapters fast enough. Overall, interesting characters with plenty of room for growth; scene descriptions were great (not too lengthy). The suspense builds and while some of my predictions turned out accurate there were definitely hidden secrets I didn’t see coming. I will definitely be finishing this series.Predictable and a bit silly
1By CLM9765673The plot is predictable and a bit silly. Finishing the last several chapters was a chore. Glad I got it for free.Great series
5By DunnlandI read all 5 books. This is my first time reading sci-fi and this series was a great introduction to the genre. The story line is believable and scary because it shows what is possible in the near future on Earth. The books follow each other smoothly so I definitely recommend reading them in order and back to back. You can buy the first 3 books in a bundle to save a few dollars. Happy Reading!Colony One
5By i luv readingExcellent!!! Captivating, diverse plot lines, honest interactions, so go with a basis in fact (unusual in this day and age). A pleasure to read.Different story line for a science fiction book
3By Dunes 1969The story line is a different one from the standard science fiction novel that is based in space from the beginning This one starts on earth and ends on a space station Do not know if the story line is different enough to buy the next book follow the main charactersColony one
4By zeusbooSuspenseful sci fi with inter3sting plot and charactersdecent read
3By asdlkfjosthdlfgood book for someone in the mood for an easy read. pretty straightforward storyline, i wasn’t amazed with the writing. descriptions felt elementary and obvious/predictable; i prefer stories that require a little more inference. also felt like more could have happened in the book. was kind of slow paced and the climax was a slight yawn for 300+ pages. i also prefer long and more complicated storylines especially for a space opera. What?
2By TLOK1The book is arbitrarily whacked off and you’re told to pay $3.99 to finish it. I refuse to pay again for a book. If I’d finished the first in a series I would but not when the first book I paid for was not finished.Beautifully descriptive

5By Wayne NimmonsThis book is very interesting as Natile Barnes takes on different rolesGreat Book!
5By jmikecolIt grabbed my attention from the beginning and instantly took me on an adventure. Definitely would recommend this to anyone!Scifi tome of space exploration and colonization
5By jdt_sThis was an interesting tome regarding a low space colony off earth but not deep space just a 5 hour flight to earth to and from. Humans take the same issues to the colony as are found on Earth therefore there are the same problems. I was more interested in the authors information of the innovations in AI currently and the potential problems with the Alexa like devices being reprogrammed to feed back overheard information with reprogramming. I have one but never have used it because I did not find it useful in my life.Action packed sifi thriller
4By yamper12This book got me back into reading with its nonstop questions and total immersion. There were some pacing issues for me and it was a little hard to picture some of the components of the novel in my head, but overall the new world that was created with this book is totally believable and exciting!Cliffhanger
4By CstictThis was an excellent book until it ended on a cliffhanger. It would have received a 5 star review. Even the afterword was good. Informative without being boring. It’s Good

5By Ma&Pa3837This is the best story I have read in a long time. I usually during my breathing treatments am and pm. It was so interesting that I had to continue reading during the day. It was really a cliff hanger.222 to end
4By FritzzI’m on page 222 and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought “yes!” to a knowing turn of phrase. “Well said” with that extra snap of a clean perspective. Writing like a journalist thinks - fast, to the point; a hard cynicism saved by a soft belly scratch at the truth of...us ... and we’re still on Earth! This is going to be a fun ride. 💺 And it was... until the story became familiar and the crisis borrowed. Winding up to make a break to the next book is forced - and the start of the new book is more of the same forced action. Still... with so many books - I expect the writing and character humor to reemerge and make the “to be continued” worthwhile. Five steps down to hopeful four.
