Description

New York Times bestselling author Lexi Ryan brings you Every Time I Fall, a sexy standalone romance about a woman learning to love herself and the guy who’s loved her all along.

He’s my brother’s best friend.

The hot guy with the heart of gold I’ve never let myself want.

Guys like Dean don’t go for girls like me.

Curvy. Thick. A big girl. Whatever label you put on me, I know who I am and what it means. And that’s fine. I’m content to be Dean’s buddy and nothing more.

Or so I thought. But when Dean finds out about my bedroom issues and decides to help me fix them, everything changes.

He swears there’s no such thing as “bad in bed” and pleasure is all about chemistry. I’m not convinced, but he intends to prove it. With his mouth. With his body. With his dirty texts and whispered promises.

I know from the first kiss that I’m going to fall hard. That this can’t last, and the end might break me. But, for these days and nights with Dean, all the hurt might be worth it.

I really enjoyed this book, the raw emotions that, I’m gonna be honest, that I’ve felt before in relationships. I like how the author explored the depth of the Abbi character and her insecurities with more than just Dean, with all her friends. We all hold back things in any relationship and it was nice to see that in a character.

Loved the book. But all of the text messages were over to the side and I couldn’t even read them. I missed a lot of the book that makes me not wanting to buy anymore of the series

Loved this romance between Abbi & Dean & highly recommend it if you enjoy hot, sexy friends-to- lovers novels❣️👍. Abbi is a big girl , beautiful & an admired, successful chef at her friend’s popular spa - Dean is her brother’s handsome & physically fit best friend & business partner‼️. Having known each other since their youth, Abbi (who has been hurt by men she has dated in the past), turns to Dean for help with her dating insecurities. As he helps her through to seeing herself as he sees her, will their relationship move in the direction he hopes or will their pasts interfere in a possible future together⁉️. Lexi Ryan is a talented writer & storyteller who never disappoints her readers & Every Time I Fall is no exception ‼️🥰. Bet you’ll have many hours of reading pleasure‼️👍. Get your copy now & enjoy it as I did❣️👏. My 5-star rating is well deserved; bet you’ll agree!👍👏. Carol R. Florida USA
  • Beautiful Story!

This is such a beautiful love story written by Lexi Ryan. Abbi and Dean have both struggled with insecurities that neither of them have ever talked about. Abbi is a chef who has always wanted to open her own bakery, but doesn’t think she could ever do it. She’s got a great support group in her family and close friends, but her own opinions of herself keep her from being the best version of herself. She’s a curvy girl who’s been mentally beaten down by past relationships and now doubts that anyone could ever truly want to be with her. Especially Dean, who she’s had a crush on since she was a teenager. Dean happens to be her brothers best friend and business partner at their construction company. Abbi has never made her feelings towards Dean known and always thought in her mind that he could never be with someone who looked like her, so their relationship has stayed in the friend zone. Then one day, Dean offers to help Abbi gain confidence in herself, and in the bedroom. Seems simple enough, right? I loved this story. I think all of us suffer from our own insecurities, and seeing how Abbi and Dean learned to face theirs was inspiring. Seeing them both learn to open up and own their true feelings towards themselves and each other. And the passion between them was off the charts!!! Lexi Ryan hit it out of the park with this book. It’s sweet, sexy, and so inspiring. You’re definitely going to want to read this story!

I have yet to read a Lexi Ryan book that I haven’t had to force myself to put down. This one did not disappoint.
  • Brother’s Best Friend

Loved Abbi and Dean! Abbi is a chef who has dreams of owning her own bakery. Her first crush, Dean, who is her older brother’s best friend, offers to teach her to have confidence in the bedroom in exchange for keeping him away from Amy, a toxic relationship. Can this temporary arrangement lead to some pretty real feelings or will their insecurities lead to a crash and burn? 5 stars
  • Love Abbi and Dean

Stella: “With Abbi, though, you’re up against some pretty thick walls she’s built around herself.” Dean: “I do renovations for a living. Taking down walls is a specialty of mine.” Swooooooon! This book can resonate with anyone who wishes for a happily ever after, but perhaps has a few insecurities to overcome. Us curvy girls, however, may relate just a bit more. No matter how confident you are in other areas of your life, it is easy to feel that someone is attracted to you DESPITE your shortcomings. You can believe they love you for all of these various reasons, but it always in spite of how much you weigh. When you walk into a room you immediately feel like people are judging you, and finding you just a little but less than, on no other basis but weight alone. Abby was very much this girl. Confident in the kitchen. Confident with her friends. But thanks to outright verbally abusive relationship, she was unable to fathom why any guy would want to be with her romantically. Still, she kept trying, sometimes with the worst that dating apps had to offer...until she comes to an agreement with Dean - she will distract him from his romantic entanglements if he can provide some constructive criticism with hers. Everyone wants to be wanted, and Dean is no different. He and Abby have more in common that not. How they navigate these feelings are what makes a Lexi Ryan book so great. Ryan is great at building angst, great at making you FEEL the emotions coming off the page, and great at providing characters with depth and growth along the way. On another note: I absolutely adore this cover. How refreshing to find a model that fits the character description so well. And the colors are so pretty. 😍 Thanks to the author, I was lucky enough to be able to read an advanced copy.

I loved it, however I would have loved it even more if there would have been more them together. I feel like they got together to late in the book, but other than that loved it. I would love a follow up to their story
  • So excited Lexi continued this series!

So excited Lexi continued this series! After the first two books in this series, I was hooked, and this book was just as good as the others. Meeting Dean in the previous books, I wasn’t the biggest fan of him because of what he did to Abbi’s brother, but it seems that the group of friends have forgiven him because he was pretty manipulated and continues to do so more openly now. Abbi has always had a crush on her brother’s best friend but being insecure about her weight and other aspects of her life, she never thought it was a possibility. Surprise to her, Dean actually feels the same way about her, but never made a move because of everything that’s happened with him and her brother. When Abbi finally decides to try dating again, Dean volunteers to show her the ropes, and per usual, things get serious, and feelings go wild quickly. I continued to hit my head against the wall over these two not realizing the feelings they had for each other and how they kept fighting the bigger picture of them being together. In the end, things work out for these two after a bunch of back and forth and we see Abbi finally gain the confidence that’s buried inside her and go after everything she wanted, professionally and personally. I loved that Dean was finally about to get out from under Abbi’s brother’s ex-wife and make amends with his insecurities and his family. I can’t wait for the next installment because I love these characters! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
  • Sweet and charming read!

4.5-stars! Every Time I Fall by Lexi Ryan is the third book in the Orchid Valley series and is a sweet and charming brother’s best friend romance. Though this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone, as each book is about a different interconnected couple. However, I highly recommend reading the series. I absolutely loved Dean and Abbi so much. Dean is one charming and sexy man, but he is also caring and protective. Abbi may not have been confident in who she was, but she was beautiful and I loved watching her find herself. Friends for a long time, neither thought the other would be interested, but little do they know. Their journey started as one friend helping another, but their connection is undeniable. They are both a bit lost but find something unexpected in the other. I loved their story so much and highly recommend it. Happy reading!
