INSTANT USA TODAY BESTSELLER

The sexy and deeply romantic internationally bestselling novel that inspired the blockbuster movie.

Laura Biel and her boyfriend are on a dream vacation in beautiful Sicily. On the second day of their trip, her twenty-ninth birthday, she is kidnapped. Her kidnapper is none other than the head of a powerful Sicilian crime family, the incredibly handsome, young Don Massimo Torricelli, who is determined to possess her at all costs. Massimo has his reasons. During an earlier attempt on his life, a vision appeared before his eyes: a beautiful woman, identical to Laura. After surviving the attack, he vows that he will find the woman in his vision and make her his own. No matter what.

For 365 days, Massimo will keep Laura captive in his palatial estate and attempt to win her heart. If she doesn’t fall in love with him during this time, he will let her go. But if she tries to escape at any point, he will track her down and kill her entire family.

Soon Laura develops a fascination with her handsome and powerful captor. But as a precarious, risky relationship forms between them, forces outside their control threaten to tear them apart...

Wow, I know I’m not the type of woman to be bossed around except in the bedroom lol…but I can see how Laura found it so alluring. I’m to set in my ways but having an amazing man to make all my dreams come true. Who knows…I might be down lol. This book has it all! Mystery, murder, mayhem, passion, steam and angst. I mean everything. Secrets, lies betrayal…I would recommend this to anyone who needs a little spice in their life! But grab a bottle of wine, a blanket and don’t read it in public…you may get a little hot at times…;)
  • An average but good read

This book had its good parts and I am not talking about the hot and heavy stuff. I mean, the story itself had its good parts- sprinkled with excitement and romance and heartbreak. The book only got 3 stars because I was also bombarded with feelings of deja vu, like I had read this book before. For me, anyways, it had many familiar scenes which were also in 50 Shades. I liked it enough to finish it and will finish the series also.

While this isn’t the greatest piece of erotica I’ve ever read, it was very entertaining! Definitely something of a beach read or weekend attention-getter. I enjoyed the characters thoroughly, though I could barely relate to the luxurious lifestyle. There were a few grammatical and structural errors but those are far and few between. This ebook could use some re-editing. I will definitely be reading the sequel over the weekend!
