Take one nerdy science teacher, add a gorgeous, broken-hearted ghost hunter, and strand them together in a haunted house in the dead of winter. Exploring the supernatural has never been so sexy…

Quinn Nolan lives a solitary life outside Chicago, working as a contractor and moonlighting as a ghost hunter. When he hears about the haunting of the Delta Eta Chi fraternity house, he decides to return to Drake Isle. With over a decade of paranormal study, maybe he can get to the bottom of the hauntings – or make contact with the woman he's never gotten over.

Local science teacher Polly Parker has heard all the stories of Drake Isle's haunted house, and she spends her days trying to explain away the ghostly sights and sounds. But her efforts are complicated by the return of Piper's gorgeous college boyfriend, who turns Polly's world upside down.

As the theories grow and the ghostly sightings multiply, Quinn and Polly find themselves drawn to each other despite their opposing beliefs. When a night in the Delta house turns sinister, can they put aside differences to save each other? Or will the secrets of Piper's death reach beyond the grave and prevent them from ever finding happiness?

If you like small town island romance, unsolved mysteries, and second chances, then you'll love the next book in the emotional Drake Isle series.

By Great start to a series!
If you haven’t read anything by author Allie Boniface before you are in for a real treat. If you have already visited Drake Isle in the first two books in this series, you’ll feel like you are coming home, back to characters you know and love. If this is your first journey to Drake Isle, don’t worry. Ghosts of You is a perfect standalone. But let me warn you, your interest in all the characters and past events will be piqued and you’ll find yourself going back to the beginning. When Ghosts of You opens, Quinn Nolan is living in Chicago running a successful contracting business with a little professional ghost hunting on the side. But while his body may be in Chicago, he left his heart, his soul, his hopes and dreams and all plans for a happy future back in Drake Isle over fifteen years ago when his college girlfriend Piper fell to her death from the roof of the Delta Eta Chi fraternity house. He ran away, but he’s discovered you can’t run away from the memories and the pain. In their college days Piper believed in ghosts and Quinn was the skeptic. But more than a decade of paranormal study has made him change his beliefs. So when he learns about the sightings of a haunting at the frat house he decides to return to Drake Isle. Maybe he can make contact with Piper and finally learn what really happened. Maybe he can finally move on. Enter local high school science teacher Polly Parker. Polly learned to be a realist from her father and an unhappy childhood, and she is a no-nonsense woman. Great with her students but awkward with people she doesn’t really know. And There.Are.No.Such.Things.As.Ghosts. But a chance meeting with Quinn and an instant sparking attraction between them (did I mention this guy is a hunk, and that his nickname in college was Ken? Yep, like the Ken doll.) makes her want to spend as much time as possible with him, if only to prove him wrong. He couldn’t be right, could he? Remember - There.Are.No.Such.Things.As.Ghosts. I forget when I haven’t read one of Allie Boniface’s stories in a while just how utterly charming they are. How you are immediately drawn into the story and feel like you are coming home right along with the people in the story. The words and the plot move along so smoothly you just keep reading and reading. It feels like you are there experiencing a day in the life, and loving that day. Doesn’t mean there is no excitement, no suspense, no danger, though. Ghosts of You is full of unknowns and clues from the past and suspicious behavior in the present. And real danger to Quinn and Polly. And running throughout is that electric connection between them – with Piper as the third wheel. Thanks to the author for providing an advance copy of Ghosts of You in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed this story so much and know you will, too. All opinions are my own. I loved it and everything Allie Boniface writes and recommend this book without hesitation.
