5By cactusmomof5I love this series. Callie and Lucas are goals. This book was beautifully written. And drawing from the real world had me smiling. I laughed with the characters and cried with them. The detail and heart Emily puts into her books blows me away every time. I’ll be patiently waiting for the next book!OMG!!

I have read books 1-7 already, and was very excited to get an opportunity to continue the story! Emily's writing is consuming! She makes vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, and monsters, relatable and like they've always existed. I read this book in one sitting, becoming so consumed in the story, I forgot I was reading until I reached the end, far too quickly than I wanted. Getting swept away into Thorne Hill, is an experience everyone should have! I was invited in by this world and its characters. It's Home. Callie and Lucas are even stronger, love even harder, fight even better, and are tested even heavier. The pure emotion poured into each word, grabs you and pulls you in, to share the pain, excitement, sadness, anger, and fear, all as if it were happening in front of your eyes. Heir of Night will keep you on the edge of your seat from Chapter 1, and leave you wanting more, long after you've reached the end. Smiles were made, hearts were warmed, and tears were shed.
