1By Sarah2580catI love and enemies to lovers trope and this book had a lot of promise, but I was immediately taken out of the book when the male lead offered to counsel the female lead’s daughter. Then he agreed to drive her 200 miles away (for something important) on a weekend and then take her to AA meetings (again, on the weekend) under the guise of being her counselor. What?? Are professional boundaries in the room with us?? Meanwhile, the female lead is hot and sassy but unkind. The guy just sits around and waits for her for 3-4 weeks until she changes her mind? Pshh. No thanks.ℛℯ𝓋𝒾ℯ𝓌
