Throne of Scars

This book was so sweet and endearing it had me laughing and crying at the same time. Grinder and Serena are perfect for each other. I loved how all the LOKI Ladies embraced Serena into their tight fit group and made her feel welcomed. It was also fun watching all LOKI men rib each other but yet are there to step in to protect one another. Autumn Jones Lake is an amazing writer. Each books pulls you in more and more each time. Just when you think there is nothing else that could surprise up, she throws something in there that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Another amazing journey this particular duo of book was relatable. Trying to navigate you way in a healthy relationship after a toxic one is rough. Grinder is so patient with his Buttercup though it all.

Grinder is working hard to adjust to life after 15 years behind bars. Serena is scared and broken from her past experiences not only from her family but Grinder’s club. Trying to find her strength and determination to not give up showing us a side of them slowing down a little and connecting and building that trust and relationship. I adored Grinder and especially his promise to always find her if she ran from her fears. Each book I enjoy feeling like I am catching up with old friends. There were so many parts that made me smile and remember why I feel in love with The Lost Kings family a few years ago. The Loki family is special and not just the brotherhood. The ol’ ladies have definitely filled their roles with welcoming and supporting each other and I enjoyed their friendship growing and not living in past issues. I love every Loki couple and Grinder and Serena definitely pulled on my heartstrings! I’m so happy they were given their HEA and redemption! There was definitely some karma that came to past that had me cheering on those moments! If you have yet to read The Lost Kings Series I highly recommend them! You will find brotherhood, loyalty, family, and banter that will make you laugh. This series shows us the alpha, broody, possessive, and protective side of the MC guys but also how they respectfully treat women and fall hard for their leading lady

Is it bad that I want this series to go on forever?! Love how the characters are evolving and new ones are joining. LOKI for LIFE…Kings forever, forever Kings but us Queens need to stick together LOL

I love this book and was super excited for more of this couple. Both have been through a rough time but bring out the best in each other. Man sometimes I wish they weren’t as awesome so it would take me longer to read. I know I never want to stop reading once I start a book by this author so I force myself to wait until I have the time (at most a day or two max lol). I love this series cannot wait for the next book.

Throne of Scars completes the duet story of Grinder and Serena. They have a different kind of love story. We find them both carrying scars from their past that need patience, love and understanding to go forward. Autumn Jones Lake is brilliant at shaping her characters as events evolve. She weaves their worlds together and creates another memorable book for the series. The added bonus is to tell their story she supports them and surrounds them in the entire club family. Another very satisfying book for the Lost Kings MC collection.
