A fun romp!
4By Oma 3A fun who done it mystery story. Winston Bell is a popular Earl, finally he had the banns read for his arranged marriage to Elizabeth. She is a “cold fish” and there should be warning bells going off loudly for Winston. Charlotte is a wallflower that has a secret crush on a Earl that she can never have. As luck would have it while strolling with her friends through Hyde Park she notices riders racing toward Winston and his mother. Without a second thought she runs towards them banishing her parasol. And so starts one of several events that seems almost deadly. The story is fast moving, a few twists and turns, with a few good laughs thrown in. The who done it wasn’t that surprising, but a fun read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
