22 seconds... until Lindsay Boxer loses her badge—or her life.

SFPD Sergeant Lindsay Boxer has guns on her mind.
There’s buzz of a last-ditch shipment of drugs and weapons crossing the Mexican border ahead of new restrictive gun laws. Before Lindsay can act, her top informant tips her to a case that hits disturbingly close to home.
Former cops. Professional hits. All with the same warning scrawled on their bodies:
You talk, you die.
Now it’s Lindsay’s turn to choose.

  • Write what you know?

Too bad the authors didn’t follow this maxim. Their lack of knowledge gets harder and harder to take as the story goes along. Gets to the point where the book is unreadable. Will never waste another cent on a Patterson book.
  • Turned left

I’ve bought every other book in this series, and I always appreciated the author staying relatively politically neutral. However this book went hardcore left and with false information. I couldn’t even finish the book, I will never buy another book from this author.

While a lot of moving characters, it was a very good journey.

Save your money, really boring. Felt like it was written by grade schooler
  • Anti 2A Propaganda

Sorry … loved this series but the poorly researched and disinformation of 2A is just sad. I couldn’t even finish it. I read to escape my current reality … just sayin this ain’t it!
  • Not up to par

I have loved all the other books in the series but not this one. Hard to get into. Some of the descriptions were just hard to follow or totally incomplete. Very unsatisfying.
