Description

Welp. It's official.
The entire hockey team knows I'm a virgin.
And who do I have to thank for telling them about my v-card?
Theodore Taylor, aka my brother's best friend and the pain in my butt since third grade.
Then again, I'm kind of sick of this thing.
My virgin status, that is.
It's probably time I get rid of it.
Which would be a heck of a lot easier if Theo hadn't made it his mission to be my own personal chastity belt for the foreseeable future.
Which leaves me screwed.
In every way except the literal sense.
Lovely.

I can’t put my phone down (which is a good thing in this case 😆). I found the first book of the Don’t Let Me series in a Facebook reel of KR telling the story and have been hooked since! This series is adorable, funny, romantic and sweet. It keeps you drawn to what’s next, while there are parts that make you smile while others may or may not have brought some tears to my eyes. 🥹

Didn’t want to put it down. Easy read and great story line that connects really well with the first book. Middle of book was a little slow but picked back up and had a great ending! Would definitely recommend.

A whole lot of repetitive drama and insecurities but a happy ending.

In the second book we get Blakely and Theo. They’ve known each other since they were kids. Theo is best friends of Blake’s brother. We have at the beginning a little bit of enemies to lovers as they had some banter back and forth. This was a nice addition to the series and I can’t wait to find out what happens for the next couple.

The writing was good, which is probably why I had the feeling of slight anger and annoyance at the main character, Blakely. The audacity of her at times had me wondering why Theo or anyone for that matter was putting up with her. “She likes a challenge” - more like she’s CHALLENGING! At this point, I’m sure my 2 year old has a better handle on his emotions than her. Not to mention the hypocrisy she threw left and right. Overall, it was a decent book and I, as the reader, definitely felt something when reading it so props to the author for nailing that piece. Looking forward to the other characters in the series.
