Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang
By Chelsea Handler
- Release Date: 2010-04-01
- Genre: Humor
Description
In these personal essays, the #1 bestselling author of Life Will Be the Death of Me delivers one laugh-out-loud moment after another as she sets her sights on the ridiculous side of childhood, adulthood, and daughterhood.
Family moments are fair game, whether it's writing a report on Reaganomics to earn a Cabbage Patch doll, or teaching her father social graces by ordering him to stay indoors. It's open season on Chelsea Handler's love life, from playing a prank on her boyfriend (using a ravioli, a fake autopsy, and the Santa Monica pier) to adopting a dog so she can snuggle with someone who doesn't talk. And everyone better duck for cover when her beach vacation turns into matchmaking gone wild.
Outrageously funny and deliciously wicked, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang is good good good good!
"Chelsea Handler writes like Judy Blume, if Judy Blume were into vodka..."—Jennifer Weiner
Reviews
SO hilarious - one of the few books that can make me literally laugh out loud
5By KatieKdubI grew up in a very prude household (mostly my mom), which made me feel a lot of shame and guilt when it came to things like sex and my body. Chelsea makes everything seem so nonchalant that it has helped me improve my confidence! I literally listen to her books over and over.Funny

5By Ralexa87Very funny! Read it twice and it was just as good the second time around. Couldn't put it down!Past books were better
3By Jen the nurseI was mostly disappointed in the book. Wasn't as funny as past books and the stories seem too far fetched. Also, I saw Chelsea's standup act in Portland last June and it was ridiculously disappointing. I fell in love with her on Girls Behaving Badly so I'm bummed she's not that funny these days.Funny as hell!!!
5By OlgieLove this book w a deep passion..great from beginning thru the end!A must read

5By Brian SirimaturosI've heard so much about Chelsea and her books that I decided to try my hand at something lighter than my normal reading list. I absolutely enjoyed her stories and found myself chuckling a few times. It's a quick read, but one that definitely takes your mind off of things.LAUGH OUT LOUD FUNNY!!

2By JBeelkeFor the money I wish it didn't have misspelled words in it. Typing too fast as to churn them out perhaps? It's a quick read. Chelsea is hilarious. Not worth $12.99 though. Barely 250 pages with moderate sized print, 99 on the smallest font.
