Great read
4By Dollybolly1I enjoyed the bookToo many characters
1By cloverhessrsThere were so many people in the story I couldn’t keep track of who was who. Exceedingly confusing. Too many plots and sub plots and sub sub plots. Far too much work reading this one.Total Control
1By Wanda DianeI would have liked this book but as a follower of Jesus Christ, I had a very difficult time with this read because the name of "Jesus Christ" my Savior and Lord was taken in vain over and over again. His name is dear to me. His name is "the Name above ALL Names". "Every knee is going to bow to Him and every tongue is going to confess that HE IS LORD". And one of the Ten Commandments says: "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain". His Name is GLORIOUS! If you praise His Name even YOU are lifted up! No other name is like HIS! Only JESUS can save you from your fallen state. Jesus is God; the Second Person of the Trinity. I found myself praying for forgiveness for all who take Jesus Christ's name in vain and for myself for buying and reading this book.Total Control
4By Opa'2Great read. Obvious film for a strong female lead. Hope it is made into a feature. Good twists at the end and leaves you wishing the story would continue in another book. Gifted story teller. I have produced and directed documentary films for 40 years. I found this a real joy to read.Total Control

5By El Dorado RoseI loved this book! From the very first page, I was hooked. And I couldn't wait to return to it every time I had to put it down..... The characters were very easy to keep track of -- each one fascinating and very much needed in the plot. I love this author.... He's simply brilliant!Total control
5By AthenagoldenhairThis is an excellent mystery with many twists and turns. Careful reading does give you some hints at the perpetrator (s) yet the final harrowing battle still holds some surprises.Long...Slow...
2By rowdykI've read well over a dozen Baldacci books over the years, and I can honestly say this is the ONLY one I didn't care for and wanted it to end. LOVED Sawyer and Sydney was believable, but didn't feel like she was making remotely-sound choices for an attorney of her caliber...kinda UNbelievable! VERY involved plot (which I normally like), but VERY 'deep'. If you want a read that is QUITE involved and seems never-ending then this is your book. If not, there are MANY Baldacci books I'd recommend above this one (like ALL of them)!!!
