Die trying
5By Bibi Cakes1Reacher books are greatMadness
5By KaccykReacher seems to get into it every book and manages to get himself out of the mess just as quickly. Sometimes the details are a bit much but so far these books are a good read. He’s definitely a good guy and we all love a hero. The first 2/3 of the book lacked action.
1By CareerMovesLame plot. The kidnappers had no use for Reacher; they should have killed him. If Reacher was so smart, he would have taken out all three bad guys rather than waiting until there were many more at the final destination. The bad guy wanted Holly for something other than a hostage; never explained what, so the reason behind her kidnapping isn’t answered. Wouldn’t the spy planes circling the area be able to spot a serviceable track through the forest. Given the roads around the area were blocked off, how did the van get through? Child one-upped the 1st Reacher move by having two bad FBI agents instead of one. Not original.. Too many thriller writers use FBI/CIA traitors.Reacher doesn’t disappoint!
5By house of shockGood read if you like action and suspense.Good book!
4By mtnjack100Lots of action and relationships that kept me coming back.I’ve read them all

5By angeljnrz40WOW amazingReally must stop buying these books
5By Z2671Really, truly… can’t get anything done! The books… can’t put them down and everything else in my life suffers for it. Excellently writtenDie Trying Lee Child
5By Wet againJack Reacher gets caught up in a kidnapping. The victim is the daughter of a general and she is an highly trained FBI agent. The kidnappers are a cult who have separated themselves from America as an independent country. Non stop action and suspense. An excellent read!! My highest recommendation!!Action never stops
5By barefootladSo captivating. I couldn’t put it down until I’d read the whole story!Good story line, but…
3By mitch7340Glock 17 is not called Glock 17 because of the capacity. Glock 17 was Gaston Glocks 17th patent.Worth the Read
3By MDUBjrGreat story. Love the plot. Definitely a fan of the series. There are few time throughout the story that descriptions drag on for multiple pages. One of the few things in my opinion that kept me from rating the book as a five.Awful. Just awful.
1By RCW9999I’ve read most of Lee Child’s books. Some great, most good. This was awful. I read a lot - maybe 100+ books a year. This was one of the worst books I’ve ever read. Let me save you time on the plot: Reacher accidentally kidnapped with a general’s daughter by a crazy militia. Then several hundred pages later, they escape/get rescued. Nothing else. Nothing. Can I rate this with 0 stars? How bad was this? I stopped reading with 3 chapters remaining. Not sure how I got that far.Very good
4By Jessica MadisonLoved the plot line and the details. Hate it that he didn’t settle with Holly as they seemed well together. I just really enjoy an author who adds some depth in but is not overdoing it. I used to be James Patterson fan but his books have been becoming dull and storylines are uninteresting. Lee Child has me sold on this series! Not worth reading
1By 25danHorrendous and incredulous story line. I am a former FBI agent and in no logical world would three agents armed with only six-shot revolvers attempt to rescue a person from over 100-armed militia personnel who mostly are armed with semi-automatic weapons. There are too many other incredulous plot lines to list or to waste my time exposing. Sadly, this is someone simply writing for a paycheck. In my opinion—not worth reading whatsoever.Good Read
5By MizzDee18There were some unnecessary details (in my opinion) that slowed down the action pace, but i understand they may have been necessary for people unfamiliar with certain weapons or aspects of the military. Still couldn’t put it down.Exciting
5By Ambiz5A very exciting read. Keeps you on your toes. Scary and tearful moments. Love it! ❤️Story is good, execution is average.
3By cplgumHis writing style is choppy for not being stream of consciousness, and his knowledge of small arms is poor.
