Warriors: Power of Three #2: Dark River

See The Sight for more info. DayClan is a peaceful clan. They believe in Starclan and the Dark Forest. 🌸 Roles 🌸 When a kit is first born, they are called a kit. But when they first open their eyes they are called a Sunrise. Once the Sunrise turns 8 months old they turn into a Fledgling. When they turn 12-17 moons old they become a Day. When they retire at 40-55 moons old they become a Sunset. Leaders are called Stars. ☀️ Retrials ☀️ When a kit is born the Star calls a clan meeting and everyone decides what the new kit will be called. One word names ( Tree,Sun, and more) are possible as are named like Dawnleaf. Names like Dawnleaf have no special prefixes like in normal clans. A kit can be Dawnleaf. There are no 2-4 names. When a Sunrise becomes a Fledgling they have a normal ceremony. When a Fledgling becomes a Day, they are given a new name. Same rules apply as for the first name. Then the new Day must stand still and say nothing for the rest of the day. Same ceremonies for the rest of the stuff as in book series. ✨ Rules of the Clan ✨ 1: Always obey leader 2: Always respect the sun 3: Never fight unless you have to too protect yourself. 4: Never kill 5: When eating prey, you must keep the bones to bury later. 6: Never leave territory. 7: Talk to no one outside of the clan 8: No questioning your betters 9: Only hunt with permission 10: Never mate someone who will not make strong kits with you. 11: CLAN OVER HEART! 👾👾👾: Bad. Do you think you can handle that, Turtle?” “Of course I can” a small voice made her jump, she liked the thought of the cat, Turtle, coming to wake her up maybe he could explain. “Uhm… can you wake up please?” Turtle asked her softly “Im already up” she slowly stood to her paws, as she looked at turtle she realized that he must be the same age as her, a little less than 12 moons old “Oh uhm hello, im turtle” “Well Hello turtle, I am…” she paused “Is something wrong?” “No, my name is juniper” “We’ll if you were awake then you probally heard the other cat..” “Yes I did who is he?” At that question it seemed as though turtle was deciding whether to tell her or not, Juniper thought his thinking face was cute. “That was Claw’Bird” he finally mewed “Claw…bird?” “Yes, he used to be a clan cat but now he’s not-“ he cut off as claw’bird cane prowling in and stalked right up to juniper with a bunch of cats behind him “Hold her down” he growled At once the cats were holding her down, pinning her everywhere, her back, her paws, and her tail. She was scared, and lashed out the other cats started unsheathing thier claws and raking her all over, her muzzle was bloody and she couldn’t see through the blood from her right eye her stomach hurt most of all “Stop!” She heard turtle wail, almost like he cared about her. “Don’t hurt her please!” Turtle begged “Yes, Claw’Bird I agree we shouldn’t be attacking her we should be holding her hostage and training her” Suddenly Juniper knew what was happening she had stumbled upon the rouges of the forest, and she was never going to escape. She’d stopped to make dirt on the way back to the camp in a secluded clearing, and ran into something that she had never expected to see again. “Miss me?” Birch asked. She bounded over to him and pushed her muzzle into his cream-and-tan fur. He laughed. And in that instant, she knew that she would never love another cat. He curled around her and she leaned into him. “Leave the Clans. Come with me,” he murmured into her ear. “I can’t,” she meowed back at a similar volume. “I have kits, and an apprentice now. They’d hate me.” “Bring your kits. How long have you even had this apprentice? You’ve just gotten out of the nursery, even if you were expecting when I met you.” “Fine. Like less than a day. But still.” “Wow. You really are loyal and determined.” She gasped. “You were watching me?” His eyes sparkled. “Of course. Your kits are adorable. Did you have five or two? Who even has five kits?” “Oh, the brown ones are my sister’s. I had five, the ones with green and blue eyes.” “They’re beautiful, just like you.” He grinned and leaned in to rub his muzzle against hers. “Wait, you knew the answer, didn’t you? To the question you asked me?” Ivywhisker asked. Birch swept the tip of his tail gently across her muzzle, silencing her, and grinned. •Of course you did,• she thought. “Ivywhisker?” called Azurebreeze. “Coming,” she yowled back. “Sorry, Birch, I have to go. Can we meet here again? In one moon?” she mewed. “No.” he said. She felt like her heart was being slowly crushed under a Twoleg monster. “That’s not soon enough. In one week?” She gasped in surprise, relief, and delight. “Why did you do that to me?” He purred and gently nudged her towards the clearing entrance. She touched her muzzle to his one more time and padded away. When she looked back, he was gone, just another shadow among the trees. Ivywhisker hurried back to the patrol. “What took you so long!” Darlingpaw asked impatiently. “Darlingpaw!” Fernfluff reprimanded. Dawnpaw and Smokepaw giggled. Well, Dawnpaw giggled and Smokepaw’s tail wiggled. “No, it’s fine, I was just making dirt. AHEM,” she said loudly in Dawnpaw’s direction. Dawnpaw immediately stopped giggling and composed herself, but her whiskers betrayed her by twitching. Fernfluff beckoned his feisty apprentice and and Smokepaw followed. She brought up the rear with Darlingpaw, dragging an impressively sized pigeon. Azurebreeze had caught it, but she had snatched it up so that she could carry it into camp. Snatches of her own instruction floated back to her with the faint sound of Jetblaze’s voice. •now, lower your haunches… and stop waving your tail… you don’t want the prey to hear you now, do you? stop stomping, then…• Ivywhisker shook off the dejá vú and lifted her paw free of a bramble. I've only read, like 11 chapters and I'm already psyched about how Heatherpaw and Lionpaw meet in the tunnels. It makes so much more sense and I can't wait until I get to the part where Rosekit and Toadkit are born. I want to know more about the WindClan kits lost in the tunnels. You know, I've read most of the books in the"Power of Three" and the "Omen of the Stars" and this makes only Dawn and Fading Echoes. I have one manga book(Graystripe#1 manga) and it makes more sense. A lot more sense. And now I get how Jaypaw meets Rock. Everything makes more sense now!
