Yeahhh.. so I gave up on Satyrpaw.. Here’s a fanfic about my cat Roscoe!! Hope you enjoy 🤍🤍🤍🐈🐈 Chapter 1 “Mama—“ the small kit mewed softly, “Mama-“ “What is it now, dear?” Skye, the kit’s mother mewed warily. “I think I heard something.” “That’s just the chickens pecking bugs, now go to sleep.” “But mama-“ “Sleep, or no practice tomorrow.” “Yes mama.” He murmured, closing his small, green-ish yellow eyes. After a while the kit fell asleep, and the next morning he was prodded awake. “Wake up! Wake up! Papa’s come to visit us!” His brother poked him with his tiny paws, “and I think we’re gonna earn our names!” He squeaked in excitement. “Yeah, yeah.” The sleepy kit mewed. He stretched his stubby legs, wondering if he’d ever get any bigger. He noticed his brothers, all seven of them, sitting in a line, their mother Skye inspecting each of them in turn. She straightened their whiskers, and cleaned their fur. He went and sat down with them. “Oh hello Mr. Sleepy.” Commented one of his brothers. He strained to see who it was, but he couldn’t tell. “There you are,” mewed his mother, “I’m surprised your pelt looks so nice.” “Thank you mama.” He mewed proudly, side-eyeing his brothers. They rolled their eyes, but he knew they were just jealous. “He’s coming..” Skye whispered, whiskers twitching with anxiety. Around the side of the big, brown barn came a tall, white-furred Tom with a long tail. “Wow..” the kit breathed. The Tom gazed proudly at his kits, and turned to his mate. “These are my kits?” Skye nodded. “I haven’t named them yet, so you could do the honors.” She mewed. “I will.” He began with the runt of the litter, and named him “twitch” because of how his whiskers twitched so often. The next kit he named “Cloud”, because of his fluffy, thick coat. The next five were named Quail, Moth, Lark, Thistle, and Cotton. Finally it came to the last kit. He began to tremble, but sat tall, prepared to accept his name. “You look exactly like me..” the tall Tom whispered. He touched noses with the kit, and gave him his name. “Ivory,” He mewed, “because of how white your fur is.” Ivory couldn’t help but purr. Suddenly an idea struck him. “W-will you teach us how to hunt?” Ivory mewed. The Tom hesitated. “Why not? Follow me, I’ll show you where some field mice are.” After his mother warned them again and again to be careful, they set off. Padding towards the field, Ivory pushed his way towards the front of the line. "What's your real name?" he mewed to his father. "Storm." he mewed, not looking back. "Do you have any siblings?" "Yes. Three sisters. Their names were Tempest, Lighting, and Thunder." he replied. "Weren't you sad that you didn't have anyone to-" "Ivory, cut it out. Quit bothering him." hissed Thistle in his ear. "Let him contiue." Storm shot a sharp look at Thistle. "Were you sad you had no one to wrestle with?” Storm chuckled. “My sisters were more than enough. They could pin me faster than a mouse’s heart beat.” “Wow.. I didn’t know she-cats were that strong.” “Here we are.” Ivory gazed at the tall, yellow corn that surrounded them on all sides. “Wow it’s so big-“ “I wonder how many mice there are-“ “How small are mice—?” Storm silenced them all with a stern look. “There will be no speaking unless spoken to.” The kits all nodded in unison. “Now, pay attention.” He got into a hunting crouch and told them to do the same. “Thistle, keep your tail still—Cotton, lower your haunches.” He mewed Suddenly storm’s ears perked, “twoleg..” he whispered, fear in his gaze. Ivory was about to ask his father what a twoleg was, but he decided it was a bad time. “It’s a young she..” Storm murmured “Are twolegs harmful?” “Can we eat them?” “Yes, and no.” Storm replied, “this one is harmless, because it’s young.” And out from the corn came an odd, hairless creature: a twoleg. It gazed at them quietly, then whispered something Ivory didn’t understand. Wanting to impress his father, he took a step forward and greeted the twoleg. “H-hi. My name i—“ “Ivory, it can’t understand you.” Storm mewed, whiskers twitching in amusement. Ivory’s muzzle grew hot as he stepped back. The twoleg suddenly ran the opposite direction, shouting something that sounded like ‘krittens!’. Ivory didn’t know what ‘krittens’ were, but they didn’t seem nice. “Can we go home now?” Ivory murmured, not realizing he was shaking. “I guess we should.” Storm sighed, “I’m sorry we didn’t learn more. Maybe another time.” “That would be great!” Ivory purred. When they reached the barn, Skye made sure all her kits were there. “Did you have fun?” She mewed. “Oh yes! We learned about twolegs!” Ivory replied eagerly. “Twolegs?” She shot an unhappy glance at Storm. “We encountered one.” Storm explained, “Look, I couldn’t just tell them, ‘oh, yes, that’s just a figment of your imagination! Just ignore it.’ That wouldn’t be fair.” Skye rolled her eyes. “I guess you’re right. Wait, you encountered one?” “Yes, a young she.” Skye rolled her eyes “Just be more careful next time.” Hopefully you liked it.. Sorry it was so long. Curse Starclan. Curse Starclan and their wretched ideas. Curse the whole lot of them. Nightfall hated everyone now. She refunded to speak to anyone during patrols and ate alone. Even Lionwing stopped trying with her. He began to become close with Songbird, a new warrior she-cat. Nightfall didn’t even care. On one particular night, the second night after Nightfall had slept in the warrior’s den, a screech was heard from the entrance of the camp. Every cat got on their paws and raced to the sound. Hawkfeather was keeping watch, and he stuttered over his words. “There were so many!” He exclaimed. “So many what?” Dragonstar promoted. “Shadowclan.” Mudstripe muttered darkly. Then every cat noticed the stench of the other clan filling the air. “I knew they were coming.” Lionwing meowed to Songbird, who huddled close to him. “This is a cause for a battle!” Scartail cried, unsheathing his claws. Sagepaw and Twanypaw (now apprentices) widened their eyes. “Can we join the battle?” They pleaded. Mouseflight’s tail twitched in worry and she shushed her kits. “There will be no battle at the moment.” Dragonstar declared. “We need to be calm. We can’t risk loosing lives we don’t have many of them.” What a sad truth. Not only had Berrykit died but so had Icepaw, Pureleaf, Firestripe and Oaktwig. The number of warriors was thirteen. And that was counting the three apprentices , Sagepaw, Tawnypaw and Sagepaw Rockpaw. Nightfall’s anxiety climbed, and it was strange. Why would she be frightened? The kit she was protecting his entire life was dead and she hated every cat. Why would she care if they died too? But if she was honest with herself, she didn’t hate every cat, in fact, she was very mad and jealous that Songbird looked at Lionwing that way. But it was too late to make it up to him now. “We must take a safer course of action.” Sharpclaw, the deputy advised the cats. “I think,” Nightfall began, and every bead turned in shock. She had barely said a world to anyone since that awful cold day. She swallowed hard. “I think we should send out a patrol to check Shadowclan out, have a cat or two meet Jaggedstar (Shadowclan leader) and make a simple and non-violent solution.” It pleased Nightfall that Lionwing was eyeing her with satisfaction of a sort and that Dragonstar eyed her with approval. “Good plan, Nightfall. I’ll put that task up to you. Lionwing, Sagepaw and Songbird may come along with you.” Nightpaw stared at her black paws thoughtfully. This meant that the leader trusted her. And she would prove him that he made the right choice. Chapter four in the next book of this series.

OakStream: Actually, yeah, I don’t really like BrambleStar. I used to like him, but that was when he was a warrior/deputy. Now, I don’t hate him, but I don’t like him. Idk… it’s complicated. Uhhhh, I guess I’m the dark one here…… :| Yeah….. I think TigerStar 1.0 is cool…. Imagine if he had kits with MapleShade. The literal end of the world. They’d raise their kits evil. Boo to her.) 6-DoveWing (she should’ve stayed in her own clan and never gotten with TigerStar 2.0.) 5-LionBlaze (I wanted him and HeatherTail to become a thing. 🫤) 4-LeopardStar (She was okay. But then she made her clan merge with Shadow Clan. Boo. And I normally like cats with any mention of a leopard……) 3-ShadowSight (It’s HIS fault Bristlefrost is dead! 😡) 2- ThistleClaw (he was in love with a frickin kit.) 1- ClawFace (HE killed SpottedLeaf!!!! 😡😡😡) Now my Top Most Favorite cats 10- AshFur (I think he and SquirrelFlight would be better together. Plus then Bristlefrost wouldn’t be dead!!!) 9- MapleShade (she’s misunderstood. Plus AppleDusk was a total jerk to her and basically let the kits die.) 8- *unpopular opinion* TigerStar 1.0 (idk why but I like him. He’s kinda cool….) 7- GrayStripe (RIP….. he was a good cat……) 6- BlazeFire (I have a feeling he’s going to get jealous of NightHeart and there’ll be a similar “AshFur” situation.) 5- NightHeart (I want him to have kits with SunBeam!!!) 4- SunBeam (she’s a interested character….) 3- Star Flower (She’s cool. Yeah, so she didn’t really get anything, she’s so low because he had a mate. With a kittypet. 9. Frostpaw. Ugh, well she didn’t get much star time so maybe. 8. Hollyleaf. So basically she actually tried and only did one thing. Kill a cat so not bad. 7. Gray wing. He didn’t kill a single cat I believe. Wow. To bad he crossed the border so many times. 6. Sandstorm. She started bad, but then she did better. 5. Sunbeam. Also same as Frostpaw, but at less annoying. 4. Thunderstar. Would be higher only if more time. 3. Stonefur. It doesn’t count if you are half clan. So he never broke the warrior code. But died early. 2 Firestar. Probably one of the best characters and fan favorite. Good but he did kill a cat and crossed borders. 1 Mistystar. Absolute beast. Never read her break the code. She did go sideways a little it she didn’t. That’s, next I will do the opposite. Chapter two: Brookfrost, the deputy had given her the best advice. Now no tom asked her to be his mate. She was happy. She was still popular in the clans, but no one stared at her as a future mate just as a friend. The moon was full which meant a gathering. She sighed. She hoped she wouldn’t have to see Snakestripe of ShadowClan there. He was always a show-off. “Cats of SkyClan! Let us now go to the gathering!” Lionstar’s yowl echoed around the clearing. Mistbreeze ran after Silverfoot. The tom was walking himself beneath the Highstone. “Hi Mistbreeze,” He said. “I was hoping you’d come with me. We-I have so much to say.” Mistbreeze frowned. Why couldn’t he just tell her right now? She then realized time was passing. The gathering would start without if she didn’t get a move on for StarClan’s sake! ———————————— Chapter 4 ———————————— The gathering had started. The leaders were standing on the Great Oak, waiting only for Bramblestar and ThunderClan to arrive. Lionflame sat sharing tongues with some RiverClan and ShadowClan warriors. Mistbreeze rolled her eyes as she saw Snakestripe among them, whispering something into Lionflame’s ear, and changed her expression to a look of horror as Lionflame was struck by Snakestripe, and fell to the ground, limp as a hunted house. ———————————— Chapter 5 ———————————— Mistbreeze couldn’t believe her eyes. Snakestripe had killed at a gathering! Well, she thought. StarClan may curse him for that! She ran to tell Rowanstar, leader of ShadowClan, but she was to late. The gathering had started. Bramblestar spoke first. “ThunderClan hasn’t much to report. We are pleased to say that prey is running well, and no loners or stray rouges passing on our territory.” That got many mrrows of laughter. Mistystar, leader of RiverClan, went next. “We have happy news to report for RiverClan. Heatherpelt has given birth to Eaglewing’s kits. And we have named two new warriors, Dustheart and Ivyleg. “Dustheart! Ivyleg!” Cheered the clans as the two new warriors looked embarrassed as they glanced at the crowd of many that stood before them. Then, Onestar, leader of WindClan, went next. “WindClan is happy to also report the birth of the three new kits of Fawnspots and Flamefur, and three new warriors. Gingerfur, Harestep, and Applespots.” “Gingerfur! Harestep! Applespots!” Cheered the clans. Lionstar went last.
