Description

A San Francisco Chronicle Bestseller

We live in complicated, dangerous times. Present and future presidents need to know if North Korea's nascent nuclear capability is a genuine threat to the West, if biochemical weapons are likely to be developed by terrorists, if there are viable alternatives to fossil fuels that should be nurtured and supported by the government, if private companies should be allowed to lead the way on space exploration, and what the actual facts are about the worsening threats from climate change. This is "must-have" information for all presidents—and citizens—of the twenty-first century.

First off I would like to start by saying I am a graduate student studying physics. I found that this author does an excellent job explaining the subtleties of physics to the average Joe. I enjoyed this book so much I bought a copy for my family to all read, saves me the time of explaining it to all of them. I feel that this is a must read for everyone! The book does not go over scary equation and it only goes over key concepts behind key physical problems and possibilities. Please take a look at this book, even if you go to the book store and read it from the self without buying it.
