3By nimbus36This book does it’s job fantastically. Sure, it had its dragging points and yes, there was one kinda annoying character, but its strong characters shone even more. It really kickstarts the series and leaves you wanting more. I love how Percy is missing because it really gives you a sense of urgency that the main hero, the guy who we relied on for the last series is gone. And it makes you want to know where he’s gone and the cliffhanger is going to for sure make you read the sequel. Great book, great characters. (Also the annoying character is Piper.)So Annoying

4By limanationI really liked all the characters and their personalities but it’s just one problem I have. Piper. Throughout the series, she develops a “I’m Not Like The Other Girls” trope and it gets really annoying. Don’t get me wrong, the book’s good but Piper is sort of a female dog. (Sometimes.)
