She holds an old grudge and resents having her law studies and dream job seriously disrupted. The brother doesn't have a clue about women and got seduced and framed for murder. He's a stranger in a hostile town and his sister is his only hope. Should she try to rescue her damn brother in Florida and risk having her own career in Philly fall apart?

Has some romance. No descriptive sex. Characters aren't cliche.

That sums up this book. It was an enjoyable read. I was truly stumped until the end.

The book has interesting characters, snappy dialogue, humor, romance and mystery. It is an all around good read. I look forward to seeing the characters develop in subsequent books. I gave it four stars because it could use some editing -- for example, in one place it said she "shuttered" instead of "shuddered." The typos don't detract very much from what is a fun story to read.

I liked the plot with it's twists and turns. The characters were believable but it just didn't grab me..... If this is a first novel - well done !

You're immediately captivated as the writer begins weaving the suspense of an unbelievable murder mystery in the small ocean front town. Chapter after chapter you're drawn deeper into the lives of the locals as unexpected visitors cast a pale into the quietness. The best I've read.

Great story; didn't even bother to stop reading like I usually do, to analyze what I read part way to figure out "who might have done it and why". I look forward to continue reading more of the series in the near future. Thank you for making this available to we readers for FREE.

Seriously, what 40 yr. old man would honestly believe a woman over 70 had skin like a young woman? Look at the hands! Also, all the cops had to do was go into phone records, mystery solved. The stories within the story were ridiculous! Points for a vivid imagination though. I'm wondering if it was family giving the high ratings?
