What can I say if I could give this book lower than 1 star I would. It is the most boring read in the world and is a complete waste of money.

When I first read this book, I took notes on everything! 😅 However, after going back to read my notes and decide how I would incorporate them into my life, I realized that this book just talks about common sense. In fact, I will save you money right now by telling you the 7 habits: 1 - Don’t let the negative affect you. 2 - Plan your future. 3 - Prioritize. 4 - Life isn’t a competition; you can win, and so can others. 5 - Listen first, then talk. 6 - Work with others’ ideas, in addition to your own. 7 - Eat healthy, exercise, meditate, etc. I appreciate that the author includes stores of actual teens using the habits, but it just makes the book too long.

a little redundant, and habits are not exactly concrete habits, but worth reading for any teen or young adult in my opinion

This book is amazing. The first time I read it I was in high school in the Big Brother Big sister program. They handed us all a copy and once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. I wrote all through my copy. Loaned it out a few times and haven't seen it in years sadly. I would recommend this book to all teens. Struggling at home or school. Even just looking to enjoy a good fun book! I'm going to have to buy another copy now ten years later so I can start sharing it all over again. This book was so helpful to me. An inspiration even. Thanks :)

My parents got me this book for Christmas cause I have really ugly grades. This book really just made me feel worse about myself. I don't care that this guy claims he was once depressed in high school or whatever. He doesn't actually know what he's talking about. Don't get it. It makes me mad just to look at it.

It was interesting in the beginning, but it got extremely boring as you read on. It makes me tired to even open the book! It was well written, but it would be a great book if it was shorter. Sean Covey blabs on about each habit for at least 60 pages!
  • Beautiful book

This book was a gift I got as a teenager. Definitely one of the best things. Helped me through bad times. Every parent should try to make their kids to read it.

this book is mostly about getting teens to feel comfortable about themselves. my daughter's reading class read it everyday, and they weren't big fans.
