The Dream Giver

I’m so late to the party here given that this book has been out for a decade but this book has truly changed my life. I have been living the life as a Dreamer who set out on his Big Dream but I didn’t know there were other Dreamers out there. I’m so glad I’m not alone and that there’s a pattern to how God takes us on journeys throughout our lives. This book has been so encouraging to me. Thank you David for listening to God and writing it. Highly recommended for anyone starting a small business.

This book has opened my eyes. I myself am a dreamer but am afraid to take the necessary steps. I also was not aware how to truly honor and understand Gods dream for my life. I'm blown away. I have a lot of work to do!

I moved to Atlanta, GA with directive and approval from God. His mighty voice spoke to me when I allowed myself to be still. My heart led me to service at Ebenezer Baptist Church (Dr. King's church, who we all know as one of the ultimate dreamers). The bible study series was "Dream a Bigger Dream" and "The Dream Giver" was used as auxiliary text. I was unable to purchase the book at the time but I longed for it. I was patient. I knew, however, that there was something especially for me in that book. Time passed. I became more frustrated that my Big Dream was not providing for me as I had thought it would. My spirit got heavy and my faith was faltering. God sent me a Champion who encouraged me to read The Gospels. A beloved bully showed up and said that I was studying wrong and to not spend too much time in the Word as it was not meant to stress. So wanting to honor God and learn about Him AND be obedient to the beloved bully (my granny), I got slick and ordered "The Dream Giver" so I could continue study but obey my granny. And just as I KNEW, God had planted so much within the book that spoke directly to me. This book gave me further clarity and further initiative to stay on my path and continue to follow God. I am excited that my Big Dream is really an extension of God's bigger dream. This book is a must read for anyone, and that's all of us, in pursuit of their Big Dream.

This by far is the best book I've ever read.. This book has help me overcome fears that I had.. It has also gave me a better understanding in my spiritual walk.. I'm happy I read this book and I can't wait to read another.. I've recommended this book to a lot of people(friends&family) and I pray that they get the understanding and wisdom that I got from it:-)
