  • Seems like a waste of money

After reading the reviews that it doesn't even include part 1 I went online and bought it brand new from a popular website that starts with an A. I paid $1.99 + $3.99 for shipping. Be smart and do your research!
  • The BEST book for expectant mothers!

    By Kelly Bartell
Loved this book! I can't say how grateful I am to have read this book during my first pregnancy. Ina May opened my eyes to a number of practices and procedures (and risks) that I was completely unaware of, and I closed the book feeling empowered and far more capable of giving birth naturally and without intervention. While the book is obviously written to illustrate the midwifery model of care, it is written with understanding and respect for the obstetric model as well. Looking forward to reading her guide to breast feeding next!
  • Stunning

This book was more than I expected. I felt is was more than informative, factual and honest. I really enjoyed reading the birth stories, I felt happy so much that I felt as though I was there. I am having my 4th baby and this has helped me feel stronger already. In the next couple years I will apply to study Midwifery. Hoping to have CNM behind my name and make changes so my children and their spouses will have more choices.
  • Ina may saves the day!!!

I love Ina May! Everything she is involved with seems to just be holistic and earthy and I can't get enough! I'm pregnant with my first child and after reading her books and watching her videos I've never been so confident or calm about birthing or about having a home birth for that matter.... This is a great book and I think it's invaluable for anyone who is pregnant, having a home birth, birthing naturally or just plain has questions or concerns about the birthing process and how natural the miracle of life really can and "should" be.

But missing part 1! Please fix this! If the sample download doesn't have part 1, then don't buy!! Get a physical version of it.
  • Part 1?

I just realized this I missing Part 1. Very disappointed!
  • Part 1 is missing

    By amanda anderson
The whole of part 1 is only birth stories but that's half the book. If your going to charge only $3 under the price of the paperback, I'd rather just have the pb version. It's much more in depth and the amazing birth stories aren't cut out.
  • Where's part 1?

This book was not advertised as abridged or as providing only part 2 of two parts. Please deliver part 1 or return my money.
  • Trust your body!

I adore this book. It is one of the most powerful empowering books on normal childbirth. I recommend every woman expecting to read this book. I did and had an amazing natural labor with my son 4 months ago. I had the traditional American birth 11 years ago with my daughter and the second time all natural was so wonderful. I healed quicker and had a very alert happy baby. Awesome!
