I have spent a lot of time looking for a resource that would help me understand what the heck was going on in my relationship. The hardest thing was that his behavior was "covert" so I had a hard time articulating it. This book helped me make sense of it so I could confront it. It also helped me see some of my own flaws and how my behavior was contributing to the problem. I'm not finished with the book but I'm so grateful for what I've read so far that I just had to share it in case it may help someone else who is dealing with a controlling, manipulating person. Read this, and it will help you get perspective on what is really going on.
