I absolutely loved this book!! I don’t think I could like a series more than this one. If I’m being honest every book I have read on this I have compared to this series.

Great series!

I only just started this book and I already love it so much. This author is amazing — she pulled me in so quickly and it wasn’t boring or slow at all. I’ve reread this series more times than I can count within the past 6-7 years. It is my comfort book. But every time I come back to read, it always feels like I’m reading it for the first time. ♥️♥️

The end was unexpected. I think I wanted more to the story but I didn’t get it. But all in all. This was a very good plot.

The overall storyline was so captivating. Everything about this book was just so well done. The book has so much excitement, emotion, and mystery to it. It makes you want to keep reading.

This book is amazingly written and has a ending I did not expect and definitely made me ball my eyes out but I don’t regret reading this book.

This book was amazing I loved it really recommend if you’re into dystopian societies in this world where love doesn’t exist in where our main character Lena fights the rules.

This novel is amazing It took a while to get me interested but like 80 pages in I couldn’t stop reading I really hope Alex is ok and that he and Lena end up together.

This book is amazing and I literally could not put it down.

Here’s the run through: The characters were basic, and I could see through every decision they would make because the plot was so predictable. It’s your favorite Girl Takes Down Totalitarian Government In The Name of Love...without nuance, DESPITE the original premise! The love interest, Alex, was so generic and cliche, and the romance was really insta-lovey and kind of ruined the whole “I Want To Get Cured Because Love is Evil” theme, so I wasn’t a fan. I DID like the little excerpts in the beginning of each chapter giving insight into their world, and the cliffhanger was nice. Just because the plot is cliche does not mean it isn’t good, but I was disappointed by the uninspired execution of the fantastic premise. Recommend for people who haven’t read a lot of YA dystopia, but if you have, I don’t think you’ll be missing out on much. 2.5 stars

Absolutely love this book! I’m rereading the series for the 2nd time, and it had me me hooked from the beginning all over again.

Wow. This book puts you on pins and needles. This story gives you Lena. She’s a girl, just on the edge of adulthood, looking to figure out her feelings, and what exactly her place in a world where love is considered a disease. Lucky for her, there’s a “cure”, and the schedule’s set for her to take it. There’s only one thing standing in her way. Alex. He’s beautiful, smart, and unlike anyone she’s Ever met before. Falling in love with him will both the hardest, and the easiest thing she’s ever done. New feelings will emerge, along with secrets, that were supposed to stay buried. Will they make it out alive, or will everything go to waste, and what will any of this mean? Unfortunately, you must read on to find out! Yes, there’s a cliffhanger, and it’s so good that you’ll throw this book down, shouting, demanding for more. How could The author leave the story where it ends? Will everything be changed forever? Will everyone make it out alive, and together? I need to know! This book is suspenseful, and well written. The characters are engaging. You can relate to both them, and the circumstances as a whole. I am excited for book two, and I feel blessed to have discovered a new author that I can obsess over. Read this book. It’s an absolute, romantic, YA must read!!

I’ve been struggling to find a good series to dive into. This book has everything I want. It has a strong plot, easy to love characters, ~romance~, and an intriguing story that has you hooked by the end of the first chapter. The ending was crazy (knew something along those lines was gonna happen) but set up the plot for the sequel. However, if you know who (not trying to spoil anything) doesn’t play a key role in the next book, I don’t know if I’ll be able to read it haha. If you’re a fan of books similar to The Darkest Minds, you’ll easily get hooked on this book:)
