5By WhakkeeFinally a book that is interesting to read, and stays interesting to read even if you get deeper into the subject. The challenges at the end of each chapter are very helpful to make you not just understand what you're reading, but they make sure you can also apply your new knowledge. The chapters are not too long, so there's always the next chapter to look forward to. Also, I find the forum that comes with the Big Nerd Ranch books very helpful. You can ask questions and discuss the subject matter with others who are working through the same book. Aaron and other people from the Big Nerd Ranch are very active and helpful on the forum. To my humble opinion: if you're not able to learn Objective-C with this book, then Objective-C might just not be "your thing".
