This is great. I don't think I need another book for residency related to Peds. Donnelly is out, Baskin is in. This really is the future. No more paper textbooks.

This is a world class pediatric radiology teaching platform unlike any other that I have encountered in my 23 years of pediatric radiology practice. Engaging interactive text, rich content, and outstanding image quality set a very high bar for future aspiring authors. Practicing general diagnostic and pediatric radiologists and residents in radiology and pediatrics will be rewarded by having this resource on their tablet

I wish I had these iBooks when I was a resident! Like others in this series, Pediatric Neuroradiology is practical, easy to read, and visually stunning. The format is ideal for residents and fellows looking for an approachable, prose-based primer for Pediatric Neuroradiology. It covers all important concepts (including head & neck!) but doesn't get bogged down in minutia. The interactive style, quizzes, differential tables, and high resolution images make this series a quantum leap in radiology education. H. Ric Harnsberger, MD, Professor of Neuroradiology
  • Lucid discussion of a difficult topic

The second installment in Dr Baskin's series does not disappoint. Rather than intending to be an exhaustive compendium (there are already several excellent encyclopedic tomes available), this book rather focuses on the most important neurological diseases in a very accessible format. That does not mean this is a superficial reference - there is copious rich detail that is accentuated by the excellent figures and multimedia. Residents and fellows as well as experienced practicing Neuroradiologists will find much to be learned (or relearned). Highly recommended.
  • High-quality images and/or video clips correspond to every textual concept

According to the above description, this eBook “offer[s] an organized framework to learn radiology by focusing on a practical approach and using extensive illustrative examples, movie clips, and clinical photographs.” Like its airway counterpart, Practical Imaging Pediatric Neuroradiology delivers that and more. Because of its unusual and cutting-edge format, high-quality images and/or video clips correspond to every textual concept, which is not something I’ve seen before in medical textbooks, primers, databases, or point-of-care reference materials. This eBook is incredibly readable, easy to navigate, and will also be helpful to clinicians and other physicians across multiple practice areas. Its primary audience—radiology residents and other physicians and medical personnel-in-training—will find it invaluable as an educational tool.

I love the vivid images and intuitive design. It is great to see a medical professional take the time and care to leverage new technology and pioneer a new approach to medical education.

The extensive display of high-quality imaging, the "practical approach" writing style, and the interactive features set this text apart from other traditional books.
