Description
Doc Ford has his share of secrets. One of them has returned with a vengeance in this deadly New York Times bestseller from Randy Wayne White.
While trying to solve one of Florida’s most profound mysteries, Doc Ford is the target of a murder attempt by someone who wants to make it look like an accident. Or is the target actually his friend Tomlinson? Whatever the answer, the liveaboards and fishing guides at Dinkin’s Bay on Sanibel Island are becoming increasingly nervous—and wary—after a plane crash and other near-death incidents make it apparent that Ford and Tomlinson are dangerous companions.
What their small family of friends doesn’t know is that their secret pasts make it impossible for them to seek help from the law. There is an assassin on the loose, and it is up to Doc and Tomlinson to find a killer before the grisly job is done.

4By marcofl6The 3rd book I have read from RWW. This one keeps the reader wanting more. A sign of a good book is when your not reading it you still think about it. Good characters surrounded by the usual cast. Thought the ending was a bit weak but I’m looking forward to another RWW book.Night Moves
1By Jack 12N.Astonishingly so , but every character in this book is more nuts than Tomlinson , including Ford . And that of course says it all. The read was like being entangled in Doc Ford’s fish hooks and tackle.... The worst of RWW’s reads. Who really wrote this - Bill Lee ?Night Moves
5By Us grantDoc Ford is always a great read. If you like Clive Cussler, you will love Randy Wayne White.Night Moves
4By LozkellI enjoyed getting back to Dinkens Bay again. The books that involve more of Doc's neighbors are always more interesting than some of Randy's more recent books. I think Night Moves is a winner and should be read by all of Doc's fans. Good job Randy.Mediocre
2By Bill1369Like other reviewers, I was dissatisfied with the last book or 2 but there were positive reviews for this book, so I bought. In the early pages there is a bit of action; however, should you turn the pages quickly, you'll likely miss it. Thereafter, for a 1,000 iBook pages is nothing but a boring soap opera tale of Ford & Tomlinson's woman and conquests. Then the 'story' comes to slow end over the final 100 pages - with the last 10 pages maybe involving some action. Doc Ford had a much more interesting life some years ago; I'll never know how things do turn out for him as I am finished. Too much better stuff to read.....RWW Night Moves

5By BoysmumasBy boysmumas I had just about given up on Randy Wayne White's Doc Ford series. The last 2 books were a big disappointment and I hesitated buying this one. But it turned out to be a most exciting read. The author pulled together all the loose threads and tied them to a great ending. I live in Naples near Sanibel Island and am familiar with the landmarks, so the background is as interesting as the characters.Night moves
