Sunstream lay in the nest with his sons and daughters, Cloud was talking with Marigold, trying to convince her that their father would survive. Dream and Night were comforting their father. Clover was laying next to Sunstream, asleep. They all knew that they had no way to cure the sickness of white cough, it would quickly turn to green cough and spread throughout the small family. Marigold looked up at Cloud, “Should we tell him he won’t make it? He’s going to Starclan after all,” she mewed to her brother. Cloud nodded and nudged Clover awake, “we’re telling him,” he told Clover. Clover nodded and padded towards Sunstream, he meowed the news to him, Sunstream nodded, “I lived a long life,” he responded, “thank you for looking after me.” Sunstream closed his blue eyes and fell asleep, knowing he wouldn’t wake up again. Dream gave her father’s limp body a lick and as her three brothers and one sister did the same, Dream felt like she was safe once again, she had never had that feeling since she was a kit. Marigold leaned against her, tears forming in her eyes. Clover looked up to the sky, “Our father thought we would never be clan cats,” he mewed, “but we will prove him wrong, each of us will create our own clans,” he looked at Dream, “Dreamclan,” then Cloud, “CloudClan,” then Marigold, “Marigoldclan,” then Night, “Nightclan,” he looked back up to the sky, “and I, I will lead Cloverclan.” Clover leaped to the top of the rock next to the nest Sunstream lay limp in. “We will all have leader names,” he announced, raising his voice, and turning his head back to his Littermates. “From now on we will be known as Dreamstar, Nightstar, Cloudstar, Marigoldstar, and Cloverstar.” Cloverstar finished. Marigoldstar looked up, “how will we get other cats and how will we battle each other at times?” She asked. Cloverstar held his head high, “There will be peace, unlike the old clans for seasons, and I have plans.” Nightstar exchanged a glance with Dreamstar, then they both leaped onto the rock aswell, followed by Cloudstar and Marigoldstar, who hesitated a bit, together the five Littermates yowled towards the sky, their voices reaching higher and higher, they had done it! They were going to make peace, but it was most likely more difficult then Cloverstar had thought…. (Heheh a Cliffhanger. Next chapter will be in the first battle!)

😎😜😎😝: I’ve looked up Guardian Herd before and honestly it doesn’t look too bad. I mean it’s definitely a little bit like Warriors but it also definitely not plagiarism b/c it would have to be about cats in Clans with their leader having star in their name (Ex. Bluestar, Firestar, Tigerstar, Squirrelstar) as ling as it’s not that, it’s not plagiarism. This isn’t hate just though I’d let you know b/c I actually learned about plagiarism this year in school. “ Robinbreeze! Pouncebranch! Mousepetal! Tealgaze!” The words her leader had spoken four moons ago echoed in Tealgaze’s head as she reminisced her life so far. As apprentices, her and her siblings blazed through their apprenticeship and soon found their own knacks and what they were good at. Robinbreeze was fast and agile, and a good fighter. Mousepetal — when she wasn’t sleeping — was very smart and intelligent and was good at coming up with ideas for patrols or battle tactics. Tealgaze thought she’d be a good deputy one day. Pouncebranch was, well, good at climbing, stalking and pouncing. He could sneak around as silent as a mouse and his powerful haunches allowed him to spring forward faster and with more precision than any other WolfClan cat. And as Tealgaze thought of her own talent, sadness washed over her. She was good at all three of those things, but her tracking skills were the best of her littermates. But it wasn’t like any cat noticed that. Especially not the toms — they only saw her pretty, unusually-colored fur and even more unusual teal eyes. The she-cats hated her because she pulled at the heartstrings of every tom in WolfClan that was her age. She thought about all the flirting and the whispers and the comments… she hated it! She hated how toms always padded after her all day, boasting and bragging and being mouse-brains. Tealgaze knew what they wanted — a pretty mate that could give them pretty kits. Well, she wasn’t that cat! Tealgaze made up her mind and slipped into camp, having mentally prepared herself for the inevitable advances. “ Hey, Tealgaze!” There it is, Tealgaze thought bitterly. She looked in the direction of the voice and saw a black tom padded towards her, flanked by a handsome brown tom and a dark brown she-cat, who looked bored. “ Yes, Sootstripe?” Tealgaze asked, blinking at them. Sootstripe was probably one of the better toms in the clan, and Tealgaze was considering accepting being his mate just to make them all stop bothering her. “ What is it?” “ Want to come for a walk with me?” He asked smoothly, his eyes sparkling. The brown tom behind him sniggered and the she-cat rolled her eyes — they were Rippedgorse and Duskwhisker, respectively, siblings slightly older than Tealgaze. Tealgaze purred with amusement and shook her head. “ No, thank you. However,” She turned to Rippedgorse, who started. “ Why don’t you come for a walk with me?” “ Uh… I… okay.” Rippedgorse stammered in surprise. Tealgaze padded away, not bothering waiting for him to catch up, and heard his heavy breathing after he ran to catch up with her. They walked in silence for a while, and Tealgaze was conscious of how close their pelts were. Rippedgorse wasn’t too bad, was he? •Now that I think about it, he’s better than Sootstripe • He wasn’t vain, like the black tom. Surely Rippedgorse would make a better mate than Sootstripe? “ Hey, Rippedgorse…” “ Yes?” “ Do… do you want to be my mate?” Tealgaze asked him quietly, wondering what he would say. She prayed to StarClan he’d refuse, but to her surprise he said yes. “ I’d love to be your mate, Tealgaze.” Rippedgorse purred, and Tealgaze felt slightly bad for him. Favorite book series I have ever read

This book was very well-written, and it made me hate Clear Sky even more than I did before.

I finished the sun trail in June of 2013 and when I saw that thunder rising wasn't coming out until November 5, I freaked out. And when thunder rising comes out I'll have to wait even longer for The First Battle to come out. Since the Erin Hunters are making me wait so long for thunder rising to come out it better be the best which I'm sure it will.
