Description
In this #1 New York Times bestselling thriller, when two former Secret Service agents investigate a message from a soldier who was supposedly killed, they're determined to protect his son...even if they pay for it with their lives.
It seems at first like a simple, tragic story. Tyler Wingo, a teenage boy, learns the awful news that his father, a soldier, was killed in action in Afghanistan. Then the extraordinary happens: Tyler receives a communication from his father...after his supposed death.
Tyler hires Sean and Michelle to solve the mystery surrounding his father. But their investigation quickly leads to deeper, more troubling questions. Could Tyler's father really still be alive? What was his true mission? Could Tyler be the next target?
Sean and Michelle soon realize that they've stumbled on to something bigger and more treacherous than anyone could have imagined. And as their hunt for the truth leads them relentlessly to the highest levels of power and to uncovering the most clandestine of secrets, Sean and Michelle are determined to help and protect Tyler--though they may pay for it with their lives.

5By TedSummersKing and Maxwell, the best in the series!!Great Plot, Writing a Bit Stilted
4By MGK1963Good twists and turns. Writing is not as smooth as usual — had to put it down to get some stamina.King & Maxwell
5By RickysPicksReading how King & Maxwell handle their Journey drew me in. Exciting. Identifying with each character made for a good read.Hour Game
3By GolfingtwoyearoldThrilling and compelling. My kind of book.‼️‼️King and Maxwell
2By FishhurtsWhile King and Maxwell has an imaginative story line and slightly rounded characters--about standard for the genre--the run of cliches knocked the writing level down from professional to freshman. While the author had a few over-reaches in the plot, the tale moved well. But a good editor could have worked wonders with a blue pen, or even a red one. A good writer has made money by putting his name on someone else's novel: a tatty sweater woven with inferior yarn, and I feel cheated.King and Maxwell
5By BigBlueAllDayGreat read. Can't wait for the next book in this story line.King & Maxwell
5By R atzmanI was saddened when Vince Flynn passed. I truly enjoyed his body of work! King & Maxwell however was my favorite read to date. I literally could not put it down. Looking forward to my next David Baldacci read..Boring
3By StaynavytomIt's a good read but rather lame plot and predictable ending. Needed raunchy sex scenes to make it perfectly ridiculous.
