4By Meg F121Five years ago Ysabella was wooed and wed by Merlyn of Ravensmuir. After 2 weeks of wedded bliss, she fled from him when he lied about the real source of his wealth. Now, just when she thinks he’s returned a reformed man, his manservant arrives in the middle of the night to tell her that he has been attacked and killed. To her surprise, she is now the heir of Ravensmuir – but heir also of its secrets and mysteries. Who is it who keeps watching her? Why does she have such vivid dreams of her happy times with Merlyn? How is she going to keep the castle safe from neighboring lords who want to force her into marriage? The plot was enough to keep me reading on but it took me almost half the book to adjust to the gothic style of speech. 5By CrazyBansheeI loved it! This story had me thinking of what came next and I also liked that it has a mixture of danger love and anticipation. I couldn't put it down I had to keep reading! I loved it, I even cried a few times. One of my favorites and I would most definitely recommend The Rogue to a friend! :)
