Loved Vaughn and Katy’s story. They were running from bad guys trying to kill them and at the same time, reconnecting their past. Enjoyed reading their story.

Great story with lots of depth and danger but also a love that never died.

On the run and not knowing who was after her, and having her ex boy friend and ex military background trying to keep her safe. They went through a lot but able to unpack a lot of her abusive past that she never shared. Parents were dead and her uncle a senator was missing and then found dead. In the they unraveled the crime and key to her past. Also for them to move forward in their relationship.

The characters were fantastic and the story was interesting and beautiful.
