A series that can be read over and over!
5By Cheryl SDSThis is book 4 in the San Antonio Security series and it features Chance and Maci. These two had, in the words of the author, a “tug-on-the-pigtails, playground” vibe. They argued so much it was plain to see they were attracted to each other. It wasn’t until Maci became involved in one of the cases that their true feelings surfaced, along with some other surprises. This was an excellent story full of action, mystery, suspense, love and family. The very last page, watching Sheila and Clinton, just sealed the awesomeness of this entire series. It’s definitely one that could be read more than once!I adore this series!

5By PattiA810We've been waiting for Chance and Maci's story. Their constant battle of wills is their foreplay. It has been fun to watch the sexual tension build and now with their book, we have the front row seat to all of that passion. They do not disappoint. I love their push and pull, neither Chance or Maci give each other a break. They challenge each other and with the current drama San Antonio Security find themselves in, it takes the whole team to figure out who has made Maci a mark. She does annoy me at times with her telling Chance one thing and then doing another when she knows in her soul that he cares for her...a lot, but the adrenaline pumping story does not get watered down by it. Everyone should have parents like Sheila and Clinton Patterson. They are loving, accepting, understanding and give incredible advice. They seem to know what is needed at the right moment to help in any situation. Maci reaps that benefit because her own mother is a nightmare and part of Maci's inability to really open up and let Chance into her life. You will not be disappointed with this final book in the series. It compliments the other books and completes the Patterson family tree with a beautiful happy ending.Chance and Macie and Their Stories
5By Book Addict KJBAll new meaning to "saving the best for last". This is Chance and Macie's story. The stories change when comparing the outside, the seeming known, with the inside. What started as a stalker case became so much more as San Antonio Security seek to protect their client and the target changes. Many times I wanted to reach through the pages and swat both Chance and Macie on the backside of the head. Be prepared to NOT be able to put it down. Bravo!!
