I had read several of Kate Courtright's short stories and just loved them so was thrilled to see she has additional new stories out in book form. Reading her stories is such a pleasure because I always get to the end feeling as if her characters are people I would love having in my life. She really seems to understand the deeper issues involved in people's lives and provides the reader with a lovely satisfying conclusion. Being divorced myself, I especially loved Pinkie....humor, sweetness and heartfelt conflict all delivered in a short package. First Impressions! A definite read.
