3By TurahShaverSo I liked it but I didn’t love it. The writing style was very engaging, leaving you hanging just enough to progress chapters while alternating perspectives. The plot, however enjoyable, had many predictable moments. I felt a lot of anticlimactic “I bet it’s xyz… yup, thought so” as opposed to an excited “yes, I was right!”. Some of what I believe was intended as subtle foreshadowing was a bit obvious. That said, I did enjoy the progression, the development of the relationship, and (again) the chapter to chapter progression. I’ll probably grab another of this authors books to check out.Wish I had listened to the reviews.

Not an original plot, and unfortunately the smutty scenes aren’t even as descriptive as you’d hope for in a book like this. It was fine to read in between reading other better books to keep me busy, and it was free after all, but I would not recommend this book.Nice read, but not stand alone

5By EquitutThe book is full of adventure and twists. I kept reading for a HEA only to find it’s a series. It’s a little confusing how many books cover Maddox and Isla since it is a breeders series that has other couples.Great story line
