Two best friends. One impossible choice . . . play by the rules or risk it all for a chance at true love.
For four years, Elle Winnick and Quinn Camden have shared a standing date as friends—no expectations, no strings attached. After all, a romantic relationship between them seems impossible. Elle's roots are firmly planted in Tennessee, tethered to her life and family, while her trust in love remains fragile after a devastating heartbreak. Meanwhile, Quinn is immersed in managing his father's company and preparing to inherit his family's ancestral estate in England—a destiny predetermined since his childhood.
The rules between them are crystal clear:
Sex is off the table.
Honesty is paramount.
Meet the first week of October, every year.
But what happens when their connection runs deeper than friendship, when every encounter stirs the embers of love? Are they willing to risk breaking the "rules," knowing that it could change everything they've known?
Join Elle and Quinn on an unforgettable journey as they navigate the blurred lines between friendship and passion. Will their unspoken desires shatter their bond or lead them to an extraordinary love neither of them expected? Content includes: strong language, open door spice, infidelity trauma
Reviews
I never wanted this story to end!
5By Rach1029Thank goodness it’s a series! I loved everything about this book. The plot, the characters, the ups and downs. It was the perfect blend of romance and fairytales with practical, ugly reality! I can’t wait to read the next one.Fall in love
4By AedriftboyWhen anything could go wrong and does….a kiss with a stranger that’s running away from your friend? This story goes back and forth over a 3-4 year period. Keeps you on your toes and very interested and who did what, when. Strangers to besties to ….. a HEA! Definitely enjoyed!!Tedious
2By vogelkbI wanted to like this book but it felt tedious. The majority of the book was written as flashbacks and I wanted it to live in the present. Both seemed wishy-washy in their relationship decisions and all of the obstacles in their relationship made me wish they would put me out of my misery and just call their relationship quits. I’m glad they had a happy ending but it was exhausting to get there.See you next fall
2By Lori StriegelWay too difficult to figure out the timeline. Author is all over the place. I didn’t finish. Life is too short for badly written literature even if it’s a romance novel.Great story
5By AwesomeAlex0224This was the perfect, light story to read while traveling.See you Next Fall
5By Elena JetI loved reading the heart felt story about two soul mates. This story was so intriguing that when I had to go to bed all I could think about were all the possibilities that could occur to the wonderful characters. It is a book that is hard to put down. Thank you for writing such an enjoyable book.
