Skye has divorced her abusive husband and moved to New York. She works as an assistant event coordinator at a hotel and plans to stay single. Skye has plans to be artificially insemanated so she can have a baby. Tripp is a pediatric surgeon and dated Skye while he was doing his residency. Another deliciously yummy and fun book in the series. Skye was brave to make scary changes in her life and Tripp was sweet and devoted to Skye. Oh how I love the protective and attentive men in this series. Another great job Carley and Erika. Until next time y’all happy reading.

I really enjoyed Skye and Tripp’s story. Second chance romances can be a hit or miss for me. This one was a hit even if the premise was a little too out there for me. But, Ms Phillips makes it work. Even though Skye went through a horrible divorce from a man who was emotionally and mentally controlling, she was slowly getting her old self back. Tripp realized that he made a mistake when he walked away from her. What will bring them back together?

Just A Little Promise is the third book in the Dare Crossover series by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. I’m a big fan of these authors, especially when they team up, and they lived up to my expectations yet again. The three books in this series all stem from a charity bachelor auction. I have reviewed the first, but not the second, however it didn’t matter as these books do stand alone. This one is a second chance romance. Skye had escaped an abusive marriage. Newly divorced and bitter, she wanted a baby, but not a relationship. She decided to bid on Tripp in the auction because she remembered a baby pact they had made that if unattached at 30, he would help her to have a baby. If he was willing, she thought that her “date” with Tripp would be the perfect opportunity for no commitment baby making. For Tripp, Skye was the one who got away, a mistake he had no intention of repeating. He was determined to use this baby making as an opportunity to prevent Skye from slipping through his fingers yet again. Would Tripp be able to win Skye’s heart, overcome her relationship aversion, and achieve the family they both desired? As usual the authors delivered a steamy, emotional story with smoking hot chemistry and a love story to make us all wistful. Readers who love contemporary romance with plenty of spice will fall in love with Skye and Tripp as they fall in love with each other. Tripp and Skye have a past. Now years later after a failed relationship she is not looking for more than anything past having a baby. She and Tripp have a connection but again she is not wanting more. Can he get her past that and want more? Something different than I have read but not bad.

I loved Just a Little Promise Book 3 of A Dare Crossover Novel. Skye is rebuilding her life after her abusive ex, seeing Tripp again brings back so many feelings. He had broke her heart years ago and it was his biggest regret. Tripp will do anything to win Skye back. When he finds out what her ex did he is determined to give her time and the love she deserves, oh and also the baby she wants. Unfortunately, her ex isn’t going away and Tripp will do anything he can to keep her safe. I loved this second chance story, a little drama and lots of steamy scenes. I loved the characters and the storyline. I would definitely recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Absolutely loved this book! Tripp is a successful doctor who let Skye go during his residency. Skye is now back in town a little different than before. Their journey to a HEA is a challenging journey with live guiding the way…..and loads of smexy times. Love love loved this story.
