Description
Supreme Court candidates are being murdered—and only Alex Cross and John Sampson can take the case in The House of Cross.
“[Alex Cross’s] innate nature is to protect people…If he has a weakness, it’s his family, especially his children. They’re the chink in his armor. But aside from that, it’s tough to get at him.”
–Aldis Hodge, star of Cross on Prime Video
In Washington, DC, the president-elect is planning her inauguration.
The list of Supreme Court candidates is highly confidential—until it becomes evidence in Detective Alex Cross’s toughest investigation.
One candidate is gunned down. A second is stabbed. A third is murdered near midnight on a city street.
Cross is the FBI’s top expert in criminal behavior. For the sake of his family, his city, and his country, he must put himself in the most dangerous place there is: inside the mind of a diabolical killer.

3By Carol PruchnicEverything about this book was great.AI Generated?
1By FanOfFairPlayI was surprised and disappointed with this book. I could not believe the amount of irrelevant info that filled the pages. It felt like something generated by AI. I won’t be reading any more from this author. I’m sorry if that offends anyone.House of Cross:
4By PunyatzGreat read! Maybe a little too many characters to keep track of. Had to use some reading tools to help me internalize some of the characters that were introduced in the book. Future readers….ENJOY!Not his best
3By Janehowzetotally implausible plot, but the writing kept me on the edge of my seat.INTRIGUING
5By Dan DailyI am a huge Cross fan and Patterson kept the faith with this one. Convoluted story line that had me asking how did two dissimilar things lead into one. I won’t say more. Just enjoy. AND, please keep Alex’s mother alive. I love her cooking. What a great book!
5By rmartin401Loved it.Great read
5By Tinabug73The suspense of it all! Another Alex Cross favorite!Another across Nailbiter
3By Small town moverMaybe it was me, as I was recovering from major surgery while reading this latest Alex. Ross novel. While it was diabolical, I found it a cold, tedious read. So many characters and twists and turns in I Impossibly cold, treacherous surroundings. I really can’t say it was enjoyable. Maybe next time will be better.
