Uganda Be Kidding Me

- Genre: Humor
Description
In this uproarious collection of travel essays, the bestselling author of Life Will Be the Death of Me sneaks her sharp wit through airport security and delivers absurdly hilarious stories.
On safari in Africa, it's anyone's guess as to what's more dangerous: the wildlife or Chelsea. But whether she's fumbling the seduction of a guide by not knowing where tigers live (Asia, duh) or wearing a bathrobe into the bush because her clothes stopped fitting seven margaritas ago, she's always game for the next misadventure.
The situation gets down and dirty as she defiles a kayak in the Bahamas, and outright sweaty as she escapes from a German hospital on crutches. When things get truly scary, she knows she can rely on her family to make matters even worse. Thank goodness she has the devoted Chunk by her side—except for the time she loses him in Telluride.
Complete with answers to the most frequently asked traveler's questions, hot travel trips, and travel etiquette—none of which should be believed—Uganda Be Kidding Me has Chelsea taking on the world, one laugh-out-loud incident at a time.

Good book!
4By ceccriGood book!Well well well
2By Caseyblue72I would love to give this book a 4 maybe 4 1/2 however the mistakes overlooked by the editor made me want to punch someone in the face. I'm not an editor so how pathetic. Thanks for blowing it. Sincerely, Me.Quite funny!
5By SreyesssThis is my first book I've read by Chelsea handler and she does my disappoint. Her crude dirty humor is hilarious. I will be reading more books by her in the future. It's classic Chelsea...
5By MB2623Yet another hysterically funny book from the witty, smart, and clever Chelsea. Thanks for making me laugh out loud on a very quite plane ride from Houston to NYC. Look forward to the next installment....More absurdity
4By AnnieP05Another laugh out loud book by Handler leaves me wondering yet again who is more ridiculous, her for her outrageous travel antics, or me for paying to read about them. She does deliver with great whit self deprecating stories that make me lose a little more respect for her, but in a kind of feel-good way (in that I feel a little smarter that I'm not as dumb as her... Even my four year old knows the sun and moon are two different things.) P.S. photos in the first few chapters are visually assaulting, so beware of close neighbors getting a glimpse of your iPad if you're reading on an airplane as I was.Ehhh...
2By ChiberiasurvivorDisappointing and almost seems forced. A few funny moments, but really lacking in content and ends in an abrupt way, which begs the question; was she on a deadline while writing this?Uganda be kidding me
1By RaymeedeePathetic, a waste of time and moneyUganda Be Kidding Me
1By MsoddogI would like to have read about what Chelsea thinks her own boobies look like. Maybe a few more stories about smoking weed. I thought the stories were fragmented and incomplete.Uganda be Kidding Me
1By 16645Without doubt one of the worst, tasteless books I have ever read. No redeeming value to it.Light hearted, amusing
4By Soccer mom stl3Read this while recovering from surgery on medication. It is very light hearted and amusing. I do not like romance novels or mysteries so this did the trick. A little too crude for me at times and did make me want to have a margarita. I would recommend to people.Always hilarious.

I loved the pictures that went along with the stories. She painted a wonderful story. Chelsea is very talented, generous and hilarious. I feel a kinship with her and wish we could be BFFs!Hilarious
