Written as always, with his usual warmth, and great affection for the people and cultures of Africa. This story made my heart swell with the goodness of its people. Some gentle mysteries, and delightful conclusions. I so appreciate a story that doesn't keep me feeling anxious, the world does that daily. The Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency stories are all gems, and this is one of Smith's finest.The Handsome Man's De Luxe Cafe

This one was, as always, engaging and provocative. The author doesn't hesitate to question his characters and make them deal with personal challenges.
