Wasn’t as good as I thought

I had trouble putting it down. Great character building.

So most of the people are super human but what else would you expect. Great action, never a dull moment and extremely entertaining.

Loved it!! This is a really good book, I really enjoyed Declan and Sabrina's story. Declan and Sabrina were married agents working for a secret government agency that rescues people and takes down criminals. That is until Sabrina finds a home with Last Chance Rescue (LCR) and she watches the love of her life die. Heartbroken she throws herself into her work. Little did she know that Declan was alive and being tortured everyday over a few years period of time, until he's "rescued". Declan comes back with the intention of killing his wife, because he believes she is the one who betrayed him. After she is rescued by LCR from Declan, they begin working together again. They investigate to see who betrayed them and travel to the location to where he was held. After time he begins remembering his torture and realizes she never betrayed him and how treacherous his torture his revenge shifts to finding those that did betray him/them. Declan and Sabrina are able to rekindle their romance/marriage. Declan realizes that he still loves her after she is kidnapped and he gets videos of her torture. Remembering what he went through, pushes him harder to find Sabrina and with the help of LCR, rescue her. I was surprised to find out who was responsible for Declan's kidnapping and torture, I would have never guessed, and am glad that he is able to get his closure. Christy Reese did a great job of keeping the nail biting suspense and guessing game going. With this book we see members of the original team, and it was nice to see them again. When I'm looking for a romantic suspense with action Christy Reese is my go to author. This is on my definitely to read again list!
