As Alex Parker finds himself drawn into her life, he discovers someone is following her. Unfortunately, the romance aspect distracted from the story. If I hadn’t skip the gratuitous sex scenes, I might have figured out some of the nuances of the case earlier.A Cold Dark Place

The different twists and turns left me turning page after page. Despite wishing this book never ended, it left no loose ends (hah), and left you feeling good about where each character stood. Can’t wait to read more of Toni Anderson’s.A must read !
5By Alexa_G95Wow, just wow. I’m more into the hard romance kind of books and I wasn’t too sure about this book I randomly came across. Let me assure you this book is impossible to put down. The author really knows how to describe the scene, and it makes you feel like you’re right there in the book with the characters. Awesome thriller mystery with some nice romance peppered here and there. Would definitely recommend. I already downloaded the second book!Couldn’t stop

This is a wonderful book, well written and a gripping story. It going to be hard to find something else to read after this, nothing can match up to this.Decent read

Can Mallory, new FBI agent, find the serial killer who was responsible ? Her career choice was made with this possibility in mind. Mallory’s whole life is devoted to finding her sister and punishing whoever was responsible. No time for dating or letting anyone get close to her. Her focus was always on Payton since she was 5 years old. At least that was true until she met Alex Parker. She fell hard for him as he fell in love with her. He protects her as much as possible knowing his secretive life could send him to prison for life.Recommended

5By BviurchinI am a big fan of really well written romantic suspense and Toni Anderson is one of the best authors writing today in this genre. Her books always include intricately created suspense, strong women and heroes with well rounded characters accompanying their muscles. There is just the right amount of jeopardy, sizzle and humour and every aspect is meticulously researched. I can’t recommend Toni Anderson’s books highly enough if you enjoy romantic suspense and we beautiful written yarn.Great story!

The pace was perfect and the tension was just right. Always wondering who was on what side from beginning to end. The title is a perfect fit for the overall story. The romance between Alex and Mallory is hot, passionate and shows a deep bond between them beyond the physical. If you enjoy JD Robb or Sue Grafton then Toni Anderson is the perfect author for you!Great book

5By Karen Der.I enjoyed reading this book so much! For someone who has not picked up a leisurely book in months, I was able to finish this book in less than a week! A testament to how great of a book this was. I loved reading Alex and Mallory’s relationship. It is written tastefully and not like a cringe fairytale. At some points, my heart was racing, because of both the romance and the intense drama. It keeps you questioning the whole way through but leaves no loose ends in the end and is a satisfying read. I wish there were a few more chapters on Alex and Mallory’s life together, but I guess that is left for my imagination to conjure. I’m excited that this book has sparked me to read more books!
